I'm sure Michelle has been home for a while - she's only about 15 minutes from the place - it's over 45 for me, and I had to make a stop on the way home.

But yeah, we're back. She witnessed me getting picked on from the stage.

Lisa's smiling and waving a lot! She and Michelle must have had a great time tonight.

I'm off to sleep. 'Night, all!

Yes, we did.......it was fun......GORGEOUS night in FL - by the pool with a storm in the background but never raining on us - just close enough to give us a great breeze. It was a good time.

Who, moi? I've been there 3 times now. The excitement of the city is gone although I would like to check out Navy Pier and go to the zoo again sometime.

i am dumbfounded.

Ok Kimberly, let me put it another way then. With the Windy City, I go through stages: either A-I love Chicago and can't wait to visit there again or B-Chicago, the a business epicenter=boring! I hope that helps! Oh btw, whenever I go again I will surely have to check out one of those blues clubs too.

Good morning. I'm pretty tired and will probably rest most of this afternoon. But I've got to go grocery shopping this morning as I've run out of Pop-Tarts!

Mornin' everyone! Yeah, I'm sure I got home before Lisa but I was sleepy and knew I couldn't sleep in this morning so I went straight to bed.

We had a great time... Yes, he picked on Lisa mercilessly... Lisa, I got part of Margaritaville on video. And the weather was perfect. Oh, and there was a guy who was looking my way from time to time and I do believe he was showing off!

LOL - yes, he was, on the dance floor. It was funny.

Oh geez, you got Margaritaville? He's too goofy. So yeah, my friend, from the stage, altered the lyrics to one song and had me howling! He brought up things from our past - 32 years ago!!!!! It was great!!!

I'm uploading the video now. Unfortunately, I cut it off a little quickly (but you can still hear what you need to). I was trying to save the battery, but when I heard this, I tried to let it go a little longer.

Michelle and Lisa's Saturday night out.

click on slideshow in the upper right, and you'll see them, or just click individually.

Also, if you go to "all galleries", you'll see some of my other work.

HERE'S the video from last night. It's really short... I was just goofing around. But what was cut off was this "it's all Lisa's fault".

THIS is what Florida is all about!!! It really was a beautiful evening... music by the poolside. Doesn't get any better than this.

EXACTLY!!!!! The storms stayed just far enough away to provide a nice, cool breeze, and a great light show, but no rain. He's there until Oct - on the weekends, so we WILL be back - at least a few more times. It was awesome. For the first set, it was them playing for just us and a few people still in the pool. Once it got dark, then it picked up - but it was fun - a LOT of fun!

Hey, how are y'all doing this evening? I'm taking a break from the books to eat a little dinner.

This evening there was this wonderful thunder going on as I was waking up from my nap! I just loooove the sound of thunder. So I waited for the rain, and waited, and waited.... I love the rain too but I don't seem to get much at my house! It did rain for about 10 minutes while the rest of the area got major downpours.

Hiya Skreyola and Michelle! I am doing ok, still catching up on all of my forums reading. I still have about 30 carry-overs from last week. It is warm here, I should go get a fan. Other than that, not much is going on at all.

Awww, this is cute! Pun'kin just discovered that there is a green light coming from my keyboard and reflecting onto the paper above it (I have a glass-top desk) ... there's not much more around here that he hasn't discovered.
