What is the best way to find a man??? First you have to decide what kind of man you're looking for. If you're a gold digger and looking for someone rich and perhaps, not too long of a life left, go hang out at senior's home, or geriatric wards. Volunteer there and find out who's got a lot of dough and when they are expected to, you know, go home to meet the lord. For the outdoorsy type, try the trailer park. If you're looking for the sporty ones, hang out at the football/baseball games. If you don't hook up with the players, then try wearing cheerleader outfits. For the smart ones, check out the chess conventions. For Christian men, I dont' know. There just doesn't seem to be any singles around that are my age. For the

I suggest some form of Poker, mixed in with slot machines and a hand or two or three or more of Blackjack. And mean NOTHING so you can't afford a plane trip home. Therefore you have to spend your days homeless in the 100+ heat.

ORIGINAL: mutinywxgirl Okay, most of you all know I REALLY want to get a teaching job - teaching middle school math. Please tell me what I should be doing when I go to the interview. Well, don't worry about any preparation...the real you will shine through without all that stuff like showering, makeup, fixing your hair and getting all dressed up. And you definitely don't want to come across as stuffy and uptight by bringing a resume or references or anything like that! As others have said here, you need to show you're young at heart and can relate to the kids. So show up in really casual wear, don't worry too much about punctuality ... after all, this is about your skills, right ... not what time the interview is! If the principal is uptight about punctuality, it just shows he's probably a micromanager, and you probably wouldn't want to teach at that school anyway. And don't worry about staying on topic too closely. If you get to rambling on about how difficult it's been to find a job you really like and how frustrated you are that you haven't been able to land a math teacher job yet, that will just give the principal a chance to get to know you better and understand how much you love teaching and how committed you are to finding a teaching job. And please don't try to stress yourself out by trying to volunteer in schools or tutor math or anything like that as preparation. After all, you want to be a professional, right? So don't waste your time with small potatoes stuff like that. Principals don't care about stuff like that anyway. (Which reminds me, speaking of professional, don't forget to tell your interviewer how much money you deserve; teachers don't get paid enough as it is, so you need to let them know you won't settle for less than you're worth!) So, if you just relax and be yourself, you ought to be a shoe-in!
