Celebrate, I completely agree with what you said to her. As I read it I was thinking of what to say in response and then you wrote down pretty much just what I was thinking.

That said, I would strongly encourage you to find a congregation to belong to yourself. While there will be a time for that, it is a long ways off, probably not till the millenium. As CS Lewis once said: the bible knows nothing of solitary religion.

I agree Dave, in fact, since I posted this, I heard a radio broadcast of a pastor and he was talking about something I was dealing with(another topic or maybe this one, can't remember at the moment, LOL)

Anyway, the guy was from a Calvary Chapel 6 miles from me!! Oh, I forgot to mention, I loved listening to him:) I am familiar with Calvary Chapel also and agree with their "about us" statement. I am going there next Sunday:) I will have to keep you posted on it since you were evidently reading my mind as well, LOL!!! Oh wait, if you read my mind I don't have to keep you posted:) Thank you bro,

your sister in Christ, denise

I think accountability is so important. I couldn't live the Christian life without it. My accountability partner and I meet once a week for talk, study, and prayer. There are things that I used to do that I won't do now, because I don't want to have to tell by accountability partner that I failed.

As for church: I couldn't grow in Christ without the fellowship with live, flesh and blood people, that I get in a church setting. I NEED to go to church. I couldn't live the Christian life to my utmost for His highest, if all the fellowship I had was on these boards, as great as they are. And they are great!! I love to come here and interact with people.
