Need Help finding HELP, LOL!! (Full Version)

I would like to know how I can view the forums in "thread" mode? Is that only an option after you have been here awhile(like the avatar thing, 50 posts first?)I see 2 options givin to me in my profile:

Flat Style
Simplified Flat style

This is in FAQ's but I do not see option icons for this "Tree" style anywhere?
This forum can be viewed in 2 different formats: Flat Style (Posts are laid out in plain format) or Tree Style (Threads can be expanded and collapsed to show the posts within the thread). Members can switch between these two styles with a single mouse click. Members can also set their default viewing style in their profile.

Hmmm...the tree style view does seem to have been removed.

Thank you sooooooooo much for your reply:) Atleast I am not losing my one remaining marble, LOL!! If you are a young person, there was an old saying "You are losing your marbles" ok, nevermind, LOL:) So they removed it. Dern, well, I am pretty used to this style now so it will all be good,

This is actually a thread where I was asking for help but I sure know how you feel. Its hard finding the right "help" thread, and finding people online to answer, LOL!! I don't know a thing about chat. I would see if I get an error message of some type. Oh, also try logging completely out of Internet Explorer or whatever browser you use. Then log back in. Then try the chat again. There is help on here. In this forum, but you have to post a thread with your question to get the wise ones to answer, of which I am not:) God bless, and see your round:) denise

I just looked again to be sure, even used "find on page" option in IE and put in Tree in case I was blind. It's not there Fritz? God bless, ysic, denise

It's not on mine, Fritz--but it was there a long time ago.

I remember going to adjust it and it was no longer there, but I can't remember how long ago that was.

(I prefer the flat style for reading, but used to use the tree style to find certain people's posts without scrolling.)

I have notificatin of messages for me but can't seem to get to them. They were sent to my public address, which I removed from the profile. My revbill inbox does not show any messages. I am an old (real old, retarded pastor needing help. I hope someone answers and that I can find the answer.

LOLLLLLLL!! You are a hoot!! Well, I posted this thread to get help. But you need help and look who you are getting, the blind leading the blind[:D]

I believe you need to post your own question to get the attention of those qualified to help. The once were blind but now they see and can direct, LOL:) One thing, when you revised your "profile" and "settings" options in profile, did you click on the "apply" at the bottom? Then "ok" if it's highlited that is. I hear a lot about "being sure to click on Apply" I remember the option to have message sent to my email or pm(mail on this site). I can't duplicate the problem.

I've tested it with a regular account on c.com forums and it showed up fine for me.

Well, just as in live, some people come and go and some people just seem happy to stay in one spot because they love it.

There are a lot of threads over in Humour that move fast, and probably in Current Events too. Some of the other folders will have fast moving threads. Watch out for the Current Events and Theology cos people can be quite tough ~ I'd suggest just watching some threads at first to see how they are. I seem to hang around in Home & Garden and Health & Fitness mostly but visit other folders too, depends what titles catch my eye!

Our hosties moderators are awesome and do a great job of helping things run smoothly. Take your time getting used to people here. The vast majority are awesome.

It's that way on FCN and Crosswalk. I tried to log in through C.com and it sent me back to Crosswalk.

I can't remember when I first noticed the tree-style was gone, but it was some time ago. I thought it was just removed when they made some changes.
