clout -> Anyone from Arkansas remember the "Patsyettes" (7/9/2008 8:48:24 PM)

I have about 20 Master tapes of several groups in my posession. I need to get rid of some or dispose of them. One of the masters is of the Patsyettes a girls trio from Arkansas. Does anyone recall them. This goes back to around the 1960's - 70's

That should be worth keeping, just for the name.

Paul Jackson may know them, in fact he may have opened for them.[sm=Llol.gif]

This is kind of humorous. Back in the 1960' & 70's we did custom recording for about 10 groups. I am moving our office and came across all these master tapes, this one caught my eye. evidently, it had to be 3 ladies who had the same name of Patsy. Anything else does not make sense. Just thought someone in Arkansas would remember. Otherwise let's all laugh. If I had a reel to reel, I would play the tape. they may be good.

Thank you Kerrlaw1. Nice of you to think of me.
Got my first big break with The Pattsyettes!
That's why you never heard of me til Ed asked me to join TPQ.

PS: I could not find them on the Razorback singers thread. Gonna ask around though.

Seems he was their bass singer (Reuben Bean-style).[8D]

OK all you comedians out there, I have some more info on the Patsyettes Trio. It looks like the tape was done at "United Southern" Hot Springs, Arkansas. I have an address that is somewhat blurred, but it looks like 213 Whittington Ave, Hot Springs, Arkansas. The date appears to be May 14, 1964.

yep...I remember that. I was their 10 year old bass singer.
Tried to get them to name the group:

Paul & His Pattsies

Does anyone besides me remember The All-Girl All-Gospel Quartet, sung by the Statler Brothers. I used to play the album it was on a lot.
