kridge -> times of struggle (7/12/2008 12:49:27 PM)

It seems that that we as a society and a body of Christ are struggling. We don't seem to have the help available to us to answer some of the most challenging issues we face day to day, not even in the church. Sure, pastors do the best they can to encourage us, but if we have some really sensitive, personal, even painful situations going on in our lives can we really go to the church for help? In most cases I say the church is not equipped to meet our needs. They encourage hope but they cannot fix what is ailing our hearts. God is the only source of real help in times of need. I am a certified Christ-based Counselor and I am launching a new ministry that God has placed on my heart. When I walk in the church sometimes I hear people talk about their struggles, my heart softens and I feel compelled to do something. After all, didn't God say to "feed my sheep"? Not just with the gospel, praise and worship coupled with prayer and fellowship, but with a heart to help the down trodden. As such I would like to introduce Ruminate Blessings Christ-Based Counseling Ministry. This ministry is to assist those born-again believers who want and/or need counseling from a biblical perspective. Please let your family and friends know that this ministry is available to them. All I ask is that you visit my website at ruminateblessings.webs.com and learn a little more about who and what this counseling ministry is all about and if God places it on your heart to share it with others... well, thank you. In His Service, kridge
