I want to ask for prayer for salvation for our churches. I know this sounds like a rather strange request but some years ago my husband heard Billy Graham describe that 80% of the church was unsaved. This may apply to church attenders or merely those that regularly go but it may also apply to Sunday School teachers, deacons and even pastors who have for what ever reason never truly accepted Christ as their personal savior. I've heard stories of men and women who have spent years in service only to admit in later years that they were truly lost. For someone who had spent a lifetime in service but to admit that they were lost takes real courage. They describe the embarassement and shame as they faced all the years going through the motions, doing what was right and good but missing out on a personal relationship with Christ.
Anyway, my husband is been heavily burdened for those in our churches who may be doing all the right things and going through the motions but remain lost. We are in the last days and none of would like to see anyone left behind and miss out on the grace of salvation.
Please join us and pray for our churches that all will find salvation.
