I thought I had answered Lynn's question earlier but guess I did not.
I am watching the game. Now 8-0 Braves. Finally getting some hits.
Well, listening more than watching. Kinda busy tonight on front desk.

Walmart had one for sale for $398 but said that each store was alloted only 10 so may not find one but they also had one for $598. Only complaint I have is they all have Microsoft Vista loaded. My son had a huge problem with that program and have heard others complain about it too.
[/quote]

I had some one with a lot more computer smarts than me, tell me that Vista is OK if you have enough RAM He said at least 1 gig RAM but my laptop has 1024 MB DDR2 SD RAM (whatever that means, but I'm sure it's less than a gig) and I run Vista Home Premium just fine.

My computer is a Toshiba Satellite A215 that I bought at last years sales tax holiday for $599 after the $150 mail in rebate at an Office Depot.

This model was rated as the 2nd best value in the under $1000 category of laptops by Consumer Reports.

Kath and I were discussing coffee... I think I'll go and make some. It sounds good!

Coffee sounds fantastic! I'll make some after getting GB to bed (we're headed that way).

Hey all! Choir rehearsal was wonderful!

Drive by Hi and Bye tonight. Date night came early this week. I had to take Mrs. Qtman in for a Doctors appointment and on the way home we stopped in at Red Lobster for Dinner. Now heading to bed.

By the way, I have a Toshiba laptop too. Its a A135-S4447 and its got good reviews. I also bought mine from Office Depot. I don't care for those mail in rebates though. I prefer instant gratification when it comes to money.

When you see this in the morning (probably), Sam . . . was it a check-up that Mrs. Qtman had? How's she doing?

That's how I felt before our daughter was born. Learned to like it very quickly when she was up every two hours for a bottle.

I bought mine used at an auction at work. It is a Pentium III that I got for $100.
