Actually, quite a bit. Y'see, when you play your violin(or other instrument) to honour the Lord, you are being a violinist for Jesus....

So if I shimmy while in worship, am I a shimmier for Jesus?

Maybe. Maybe not. All's I know is, the Bible says many times to praise Him with stringed instruments. But I've never once read anything about the shimmy in there....

Psalm 149:3
Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp.

HA!

Their dancing was a little different from the shimmy. Which can hardly be called dancing as much as flailing.

If the shimmy isn't categorized as dancing, then the world is nothing more than a marshmallow.

Then I guess my world, at least, is nothing more than a marshmallow.

Off topic fact:
Cannibalism existed in the Bible.

And I certainly don't suck.

Rae, you should totally invent the Clapper! It'd be this thing where you clap, and light comes on! It would be huge in the market!

Oh, wait...

It takes more energy to snap. Americans would never buy it.

Unless it came with an energy drink.
