I give it two thumbs up! I enjoyed all of the performances with the possible exception of Tenacious D, which was okay not great. Otherwise, the top performers for me are 1)The Flaming Lips 2) Pearl Jam 3) Incubus 4)The Foo Fighters (sans Dave Grohl, throat problems) I thought it fitting and somewhat apropot to end the evening with "Tea and Theater" whereas it only Townsend and Daltrey

I only caught Pearl Jam and Adam Sandler - hopefully I'll get to see most of rest on a re-broadcast. I thought Pearl Jam were a perfect choice to do the songs from Quadrophenia. Eddie V.'s voice fit those tunes suprisingly well. I look forward to seeing the Lip's contribution. Too bad Pete & Roger felt they had to stick with the hits (well, except for "Tea..."). Would have been cool to hear them do something a little more obscure than Who Are You, etc. Oh well. Still very entertaining.
