Hello my forum friends,
I just want to ask for your prayers as I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning. I haven't been feeling myself lately and I am going to have some blood work done to determine if I have Diabetes. Since there is a family history that is why that is being specifically checked. I know the Lord's will, will be done in this situation. Thanks.

Praying for you, Steve. Hubby has diabetes, and although it was pretty devastating when he was first diagnosed, he's doing very well. So can you!!!

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics for what he feels is just an infection. My blood sugar was in line and he ruled out diabetes. Full lab results won't come back for a few more days but he doesn't feel concerned. Thank the Lord!!

Diabetes is not something to mess with. Sometimes I just don't feel like eating, but I have to force myself. Seaton just make sure you get checked every year or so to keep on top of it. If I had been told earlier that I was borderline, I could've prevented a lot of stuff i'm struggling with now.

Hubby has to get checked every 3-6 months, but it's worth it.
Terri, do you check your blood sugar every day? Multiple times a day?

Well i'm supposed to check it twice a day. Not having insurance make it difficult because testing strips are expensive. My sisters have some that I need to go get.

Thanks, I definitely want to keep on top of it, especially with the family history. This is the first time I had even seen a doctor in 2 1/2 years. Believe me, that will change. I know an annual check up is important.

Marge and I are going to Northside Hospital in Atlanta to vist a SGMA fan by the name of Martha Day. She is in ICU and needs our prayers. Many of you see her at the singings in and around Atlanta and also Praise Fest.

I would ask for prayer for two people. One is a former foster daughter of mine who lost her Father this week. He was the only parent she had & did what he could to take care of her. The memorial service will be Sunday at 3 PM. I know it will be so hard on her not to have any family left.
Also I ask for prayer for my aunts family as they take care of her in these last few days, and also that God will give my Aunt Pauline peace in these last few days.
