Thank you for your prayers for Alicia and I today, we had a fun, relaxed and totally stress free day -at least until her knee went out, then we got on a golf cart driven by a woman who must have thought she was racing Jeff Burton or Tony Stewart. First she told us to hold on, then she said but don't hold on the side bars - if I hit something you could lose your fingers 
Then she proceeded to take us over the bridge that plainly said 'no vehicles of ANY kind allowed, she made a sharp right and then a U turn that nearly threw us off and she yelled ' keep your hands off the side bars'. Alicia and I were about to fall off the cart (because of her driving and because we were laughing so hard!)
Then as we passed the folks handing out goodie bags, she told them 'hold them up, I'm carrying them all the way to their car' and they gave us all the bags we could hold - we should run out of razors, Goody's headache powers, tums or A1 sauce for a while!!!
We needed the laughs - and we made it safely to the car so I KNOW God answers prayer!!!!!

ROFLOL!!! I'm so glad you two had a good relaxing time. I know those have been few and far between lately!

Pray for Alicia today, between trying to walk on her hurt knee and our wild 'cart ride' her back is killing her today. She is having trouble moving.
Again I appreciate all of you who have been so faithful to pray for Aliciia, me, the baby and all the other needs. God is faithful!

wanted to thank everyone (I dont think I already have if I have then thank you again) for praying for Alyvia. She has not had anymore spells like that since that night. She was on the other hand sick this morning. I ask if you would pray for her 4 year old sister. Her name is Alayna and they seem to have trouble keeping her weight under control. A normal size in clothes for a 4 year old would be a 4T. She was a size 8 and now she's a size 10 in girls. She just seems to keep putting on the weight, but doesnt eat any differently than a normal 4 year old would. LaDawn said she's tried running with her, but she soon starts coughing and getting beat red in the face. She's so upset when her baby sister gets pretty little "cinderella" dresses (as she calls it) but she cant. We've all tried so hard to find a frilly little dress for her like a 4 year old should wear, but by the time u get up to the girls sizes 10 they stop since by that age girls are out of that frilly dress stuff. That we know of there is no actual illness invloved with this and they just have to pray that it'll just stop and the weight will eventually come off.
I wanted to show you a picture of them that I took last night while out at their place.

Praying for them. Just a question...I'm assuming the mom has had her checked for thyroid and other similiar problems???

I'm actually not sure. She just keeps saying she doesnt know what to do, but considering she never took Alyvia to the dr when all that happened with her I'm assuming she hasnt with this one either.

I'm praying that God will direct this mom to take her child to the doctor and to send her someone to give her that counsel. Does she take them for their regular check ups? If so, she needs to mention this.

I'm sure she does with them being so young.
I do have another request which I posted in another thread, but going to post it here too incase some of you dont read that particular thread.
Next Friday (the 24th) we're taking my "little" niece to a Talley show. She's not so little anymore, she just turned 17 a couple weeks ago. I've had this burden on my heart for a while now to take her, but never did anything about it. The only church up bringing that girl has had growing up is when we would take her when she stayed with us and always wanted to come to bible school. She was even going to church with a friend for a while, but the older she got the more it stopped and the more shes become like my sister (her mama) and is into this goth and dungeons and dragons stuff. Even though my sister, like all 3 of us girls, was brought up in church. My other sister is not christian either. I tell my mom all the time one out of three aint too bad! 
So instead of "dragging" her to church to hear some preaching (which I know she wouldnt do anyway) I'm having to be a little more clever now so I asked her if she wanted to go to a Talley concert. She said whats a talley concert. I didnt come right out and say it was a christian concert (otherwise she wouldnt go), but kinda explained who they were. She said it sounded fun and would like to go. I figure with Lauren being younger and being able to reach the young people that it was probably a better thing to take her to then just a regular church service. Seeing a young person up there serving Christ and seeing that not all young people are out getting drunk, etc it sometimes helps. So please pray that something one of them do or say, weather it be Lauren or one of the other two, will help in some way or at least get her thinking. It could all start with her and spread throughout that household. I also have a 14 year old nephew, but I didnt figure with Lauren being a girl it would affect him as much as if he was seeing a young male up there. If that makes sense.

Heather definitely praying for your neice and nephew.
And the reason I asked about checkups, I know most folks do but sometimes folks don't have insurance or other things and those things slide a little. I hope she mentions these things at her next check up.

Please pray for these two families:
Everyone please keep Brandi and Landon (the baby) in your prayers. As many of you know Brandi has been having complications with her pregnancy and she’s been on bed rest for several weeks now. Brandi is only 28 weeks pregnant and today they had to admit her in the hospital because the baby is trying to come early. I’m sure many of you wish there was something we could do. The most important thing right now is PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!! The doctor told Brandi not to do anything and not even answer phone calls. I ask that you please make this a high priority in your prayers. PLEASE don’t forget to pray for Brandi and Landon. I’m glad we serve a God that isn’t surprised by any situation and He knows exactly what Brandi and Chris are facing.
Also they had to take Mrs. Gwen Milner back to the hospital this morning due to some more chest pain. The doctors performed another heart cath. Friday they found a few blockages and put a stint in the worst blockage. Today they put a stint in the other blockage and said it’s not unusual to have some pain a few days after a heart cath. Please remember to keep Mrs. Gwen in your prayers as well.
Even in bad situation like these two, I’m glad we have a God that is alive and hears our prayers.

Oh...how I understand...I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Athritis at 41...I don't have the Fibromyalgia but I understand that is really miserable. I'm definitely praying for her.

My friend's young son has had a virus and then broke out in blisters on his body. They cultured it and got that report back Monday...it's MRSA. He was given antivirals and an antibiotic and today is when they will evaluate how those medicines are doing. My friend (the mom) doesn't think he's any better, so he'll probably be admitted to Children's Hospital today for IV antibiotics. Please pray for Hudson and his family.
