Continue to pray for Larry Ferguson family and Chris Barnes. They were injured in the Dottie Rambo bus acident. Below is an update from an email from Larry Ferguson:
Please pray for us as we have more surgery ahead of us and we don't work or insurance at this time. Judy, Christian, Pierce and I are alive due to your prayers. Chris is here with me and we have a nurse and our family along with us to go do the Jim Bakker show. On Saturday August 2 in Louisville, KY at Shively Baptist on Sadie Lane. Our dear friends Aaron Wilburn, Kenny Bishop, Kristian Booth, and several other wonderful groups. My little one Christian (8 years old) is going to sing a few of Grand Dot's songs (Dottie). The music starts at 4oclock . Judy Brannin of the Brannin Agency took it upon herself to do everything she could to help The Ferguson Family and Chris Barnes. At 1 oclock Judy is planning on showing biography videos and music videos of Dottie some that you may not have ever seen before.
Chris and I are slowly getting better. Chris said that he doesn't have to have any more surgery. His parents have moved in with him to care for him. He is still wheelchair and walker bound. I have to have 5 more surgeries between my mouth and my femur. I am still wheelchair and walker bound. I thank God for all the friends that came to help us and be very good to us.

Praying for Ruth. Her surgery is scheduled for about this time.
Also remembering the Fergusons and Chris.
There are so many needs and I pray for Gods intervention. He is able!!

Another update...Paul...Ruth's son called and the doctors decided to move her to the telemetry floor to monitor her heart because of her past heart history. She is doing fine and awake and talking. Laughing and cutting up with the nurses.

I posted this over in the geezer thread but wanted to post it here too...
UPDATE On Ruth/MissGizzmo:
Just got off the phone with Ruth...she is doing wonderful with the exception they are starving her to death. She hasn't been getting her meals like she is suppose to and it's messing her meds up...she's diabetic. She is suppose to go home tomorrow...she said she is looking forward to that because at least she has FOOD!!!
She said the doctor had told her before surgery there was a 50/50 chance of her having thyroid cancer but so far all of the tests have come back negative. They are waiting on one more test but she said the doctor would be extremely shocked if it came back positive.
She said to tell everyone she really appreciates all the prayers and that she looks forward to getting back on here and palavering with us again.
Sam...she said she misses you too and that she thinks it funny you have MissGizzmo's avatar.

Once again, requesting prayer for Lamp Music President Mike Pillow. Mike began having problems breathing today. He was taken to Tanner Hospital and they discovered pollocks on his air passage, thought to be a result of the air tube they had in his throat earlier. They are going to life flight him to Emory Hospital in Atlanta for surgery which will probably be Monday morning. As you will remember Mike was injuried in a motorcycle accident June 18 and substained serious injuries.
Also I have another request that I won't mention the name but she is a gospel singer and remains in the hospital where she has been for several days now.
