The Chargers-Broncos game was a classic. How aboput Shanahan going for two instead of playing for OT. I'd love to see more of that. I'd even support a rule requiring a team go for two when scoring a TD in the last minute (when down by seven).

eah San Diego blew another one in the final minutes! BUT! DEY WAS ROBBED!!! My Colts pulled this one out of their hats at the last minute, man givin' me an ulcer trying to watch that game. Gonzalez to Wayne lateral....(sounds heard in the freak household) AAAAAHHHHHH No Gonza..... OH YES, GO WAYNE GO! Never had I had to go from complete tears to complete joy, not even on my wedding day. It is good to see that the Pack are holding up, I know it was the Lions but how many points can the Packers score? WOW!, Although I think next week they go to Dallas! That will be a game. And speaking of the Packers, can we all laugh any louder at Brett Favre? What the??? And how's bout them Dolphins... same old same old, but the Cardinals looked relatively good. HEY COW451, SHOUT OUT TO YOUR GIANTS! Saint Louis Rams have never looked sooooo sad, unreal.

They better be up for the Eagles next week or they're going down! I guess to be fair, Rothlesberger's arm seemed strong despite the sholder dislocation. Ouch!

THIS is thus far the most ridiculous call I've seen this season. I admit the Chiefs suck this year (and last year, and probably two years before that), but I don't see how this was ruled as a touchdown.

He switched the ball to his left hand, so it was on the inside of the pylon. The call was consistent to what they've done numerous times in the past. I've never agreed with it, to me the body is out of bounds, but it follows precedent.

OK. So with the season only 2 weeks gone, I can already see several coaches that better turn their ships around, RIGHT NOW, or they're going to be on the hot seat (and in danger of the unemployment line) by the time the playoffs roll around. AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH ANY OF THESE? Marvin Lewis (Cincinnati Bengals) Brad Childress (Minnesota Vikings) Mike Nolan (San Francisco Forty-Niners) Scott Linnehan (St. Louis Rams) Romeo Crennel (Cleveland Browns)

You would never have seen that called a touchdown in the days when football was played the way it was meant, on the frozen tundra.

They unnaturally force a coach to go against their strategic best interests and are way too situation based. The one thing that may cause road teams to choose to do the above is to say that home team gets the ball first in OT, no coin toss. If the coach knows the other side will get the ball first it may cause him to take a chance. And it gives a boost to home field advantage, which I like. It even has a side benefit to the road team as then they won't have to wonder how the coin toss will turn out, one less uncertainty to worry about.

Nah on your idea. I would like to see OT changed so that each team gets at least one possession if the first team scores on the first possession that the second has to "play to win", i.e., go for a TD if down by three or go for two if down by seven.

Thats a popular idea but I disagree. Defense is part of the game. If the toss doesn't go your way stop the other team. Or you lose. Its the NFL baby. College OT is interesting but not for the NFL.

I know TO has talent but he is too much into himself rather than into the team. He gets TD's but I feel he does it more for his own ego than for a team win.

Went to the Jets-Patroits game sunday. What an experience. Brett played reasonably well but the Pats were just the better team that day. Glad my niners won as well.

Out of the ones listed, I line them up in this order from hottest seat to coolest: 1. Linehan (personally, I don't think he'll finish the year out) 2. Lewis 3. Nolan 4. Crennel 5. Childress

So far he has been a pretty good team player. He gets along with Romo very well. I think he realizes he isn't getting any younger, and if he wants to cap his career with a superbowl he needs to be more humble than in the past.
