I'm really depressed right now. I know I need to see someone about it because it's become crippling (I'm having anxiety attacks in addition to the depression)... I'm trying to make sure I get a decent person and not just anyone. I've heard some horror stories. I just don't want this to get in the way of school... and right now, it is.

The friend that transferred... I can't find a trace of her anywhere. She won't answer texts; she'd JUST started a new job and had long-time families she babysat for; she deleted her facebook profile. I don't get it. It's like she disappeared into thin air.

Oh I am sooo irritated!!

We were robbed last night.
I went to bed around midnight and soon after heard a thump thump thump.
I woke Rick up so he could go check it out, and he said it was probably our DD upstairs walking around. I told him it didn't sound like it was coming from above our heads, it was coming from the driveway area.

Neither of us got up to investigate and now we have lost over $1,000.00 worth of tools out of the truck (which was parked in the same area I heard the noises coming from).

The police just left so now we have to file a report to insurance company and replace everything that is gone.

Yes it was just the tools that were taken.

My husband is a residential contractor and last night didn't unload all his tools because he was tired when he got home.
The tools that were taken were the ones he uses regularly.

The police said there was a rash of robberies last night and we just happened to be one of them.
I don't think ours had anything to do with the others, to get to the truck you have to go up a very long drive and so whoever took them had to know they were there.
I think if we ever find out who took them we will know them.

Trish- I'd love to have more kids. We started rather late. I was 30 when E was born. Like Mom, only I was born on her 30th birthday. She hated it when I learned how to add. "Mom, remember when I was 5 and you were 35?" I never told people how old she was. I'd tell them how old I was and which birthday I was born on. If they knew how to add, it wasn't my fault. (And I still have no problem telling people how old I am. I'M 41! ) Anyway he suggested injections over Clomid due to my age. We'll try for a few months without it and then start with a dr if that doesn't work.

Aunt is spending the night tonight. We smoked sheesha (that's flavored tobacoo, btw) and I posted instructions HERE if you're interested. I also have a favorite video from before, a bit down the page.

Tomorrow Aunt and A are going to Jiddo's to clean for him. He's not watching the woman he pays to clean and she's hardly doing anything. I'll leave the kids there and take him to help me buy a new suitcase to replace the one DH left in the States in January.

A week from tomorrow we head back to Kuwait. I'll be glad to see DH but the sandpit is NOT something I'm looking forward to. And the dust storms. And the fact that Ramadan starts a day or two after we get back. That means I can only eat and drink in the staff room at school, although I'll keep a bottle of water in my closet to sneak a sip from now and then. I just have to remember no gum or water in the car. Ugh! They're really strict on eating/drinking in public if you're an adult. You can end up in jail for the remainder of the fast. {sigh}

Well, I'm off to bed soon. Have a nice day, ladies.

Hi everybody.

((((((((((((((((((((((((KIMMIE)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) So sorry to hear about the robbery. That stinks! Do you have insurance that will cover that?

Wow! Robbery and Ramadan...who would think they'd ever be in the same thread?

Little boy was on red today. He couldn't keep his hands to himself.

Morning was crazy with more kids, but it's the weekend now so I can put that behind me (temporarily). Gotta get to work on the schedule (again). Oh well...I can do this!

(((Kimmie))) How is that going to affect your income?

I was debating yesterday whether to even go to the hairdressing appt I had set for early this morning. When I woke up at 8.45am I really felt like going so threw myself through the shower and thanked God it was only a 5min drive. I got there right on time... for my 9am appt.

Sounds like you've got an active little guy there, Faith.

Kylie, so are you feeling any better? What about your family?

I was feeling a lot better this morning and had a great time at the hairdressers. I really shouldn't have gone grocery shopping with dh straight after though. I was seriously flagging by the end of it and will probably go and lay down after lunch (kind of late today).

I'm guessing by Monday I will be fine.

J is a lot better. He's back down to one chin so, even though we haven't got results yet, I seriously doubt it is Mumps.

The warmer weather is helping a lot too.

We do have insurance, however the deductible is $500 so we are debating whether to file a claim or not.

As far as the income, it's going to put a crimp in the budget for awhile until we can recoup what was lost...guess that's the reason I am now working huh? LOL

I keep telling myself, it's going to be ok, and I know it will.
We were actually broken into last year (garage) and about the same monetary amount was taken then as well.
These tools may be hard to pawn or sell because Rick has his name engraved all over them.

And as an aside, he bought bullets for the gun today...something I wouldn't let him do for a long time.
He showed me how to load, unload, release the hammer and all the things I really do not want to know but he feels I need to.
I hated having a gun in the house, now I hate even worse having a gun and bullets together in the house.
It is unloaded and the clip is not with it but just knowing it's there makes me worry.

Here in Australia, if you have a gun licence to begin with, you have to keep your guns and bullets/clip in separtated, locked sections of a cabinet which is bolted to the floor.

Everyone in our house has been sick over the past couple of weeks with what seems to be different viruses. One of them finally caught up with me and I got what the doctor thinks is a respiratory tract infection out of it. It laid me up in bed for three days and I spent yesterday feeling pretty miserable to, but at least I was up and about a little more.

This morning I think I just overdid it a bit before my body was totally ready for it.

Nicole,
Thank you for asking about MIL.
God is amazing!
Her lung tumor has shrunk to about 3/4 the size, the lesions in her liver are nearly to nothing, she is no longer on any oxygen, her tumor markers have declined dramatically!!
She is out and about enjoying life once again!

I spoke with her tonight and she sounds better than she has sounded in a long time.
Her doctor is astounded at her progress, she said he told her he just couldn't believe her progress and how well she was doing compared to being on deaths door just a few months earlier, she told him, "If God can raise Lazarus after being dead, what's so hard about Him raising me before I die?"

Kylie, the same thing's happening in my house, and it happens every once in a while. My nephew gets something, and then a form of whatever he caught goes through us all. He got something at the beginning of the week that caught my parents and me, but it's not so bad (unless it suddenly gets worse). I remember once my nephew got it but he could still get up and run around...when it got around to me I had to crawl around, even to get to the bathroom cause it literally zapped me.

Wow Kimmie, that is totally awesome! That's made me smile, only sorry I didn't ask earlier, but when I have seen your name in posts I have thought of you.

Kylie- hopefully you can rest up the rest of the weekend.
I am off to take a nap with Nathy boy!

I think the biggest issue I've had with it was that I was already so tired from looking after three other sick people for two weeks.

Kylie I hope you get to feeling better soon, there are few things that are worse than having to take care of other sick folk then end up sick yourself.
Are you on any antibiotic?
