I needed to crank THIS up to 11 to get that out of my mind!

I call that a pallet cleanser. Anything AC/DC also works well.

See post 119 for some AC/DC. Definitely worthy of cranking up to 11.

In case you already enjoyed that one, here's another.

I've tried to like AC/DC over the years, but I just can't and I don't know why.

I don't think Aerosmith has been represented yet: No More No More

If you don't like them, then you don't like them. You do have excellent taste in Aerosmith songs, though. That's quite possibly my favorite songs of theirs.

Here's another one I love: One Way Street

The YouTube black hole...

That's a good one, but not their best. :)

That one is pretty good, I don't think I have heard it before.

There is one Aerosmith song I hear every so often on the radio. I don't know the name of it, but the last half of the song is one long guitar solo. It's driving me nuts trying to think of it. HELP!!!

Could it be Last Child? (You might notice that the video calls this song "Last Clild" )

Nope, that's not it, although that's a great song, too! I'll find it eventually.

I'm just starting on the real coursework for my major and have to practice a presentation for tomorrow night, so I must escape the Youtube matrix, at least temporarily.

But before I do--This is best Skynyrd song ever: That Smell

Eeek! That Borg video is skeery! It looks enough like my city government to give me an anxiety attack.

Dad

I need to ask a question...?
Dad...
When you posted your videos to you-tube... was it easy or are there special requirements?
And..
What is a good quality Camcorder to get a homemade video up on the tube with... or do you know of any good (quality) cams for the PC?

Also
… I found a good program that can pull a video off the tube and onto the computer

I think it's pretty easy, but I don't post them, my wife does. I know the first time you post there's some delay while the admins do their admin thing. I'm not techy enough to give you a good recommendation on camcorders. The one I use, I use because it's available, not because it's great. As you can tell, it sucks at recording live music. I'm to the point now where I'm about ready to give up recording at church.

I like that song, but I don't care for the sound on that whole album. It seems so over porduced. I'd like to hear a staright ahead, rough cut version of it some time.

....

Truthfully...

I remember auditioning for a band once; and in the paper they listed Rush ...bla bla bla,
The drummer was still in High School and every where he walked he was playing AIR drums, ….the guitar player was dressed in 15th century British garb type stuff straight out of Hermans Hermits, ....

….So the devil must have spoken to me,
I mean I had the $ickenbacker, the P-Bass… and the stage presence… but...

I went into the bathroom, looked in the mirror ...just to make sure I didn't look like Geddy Lee!! ]

I came out and….I said to them...do you guys do anything else??...
They answered NO (that’s all they did!)....
(then it comes to pass that Rush was they only god they worshiped!) and they looked at me.. like …Hey ..Rush is it !!!

I stayed for the audition and learned a couple of songs... and never called them back!

Them Rush fans were some sick Puppies

Just Kiddin~!!!!
