God gave us ten commandments.
Jesus gave us two: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind ... Love your neighbour as you love yourself. Matthew 22:37.
Since then we've had millions of laws, by-laws, rules and regulations saying exactly what God and Jesus said ... only differently.
Yet people still break the old commandments and the new laws.
Is this because the gap between God and man is so large to be un-bridgeable? Why is it that despite some very draconian laws (in some cases) people will still disobey and do their own thing? And suffer the consequences.
