ORIGINAL: Striving2BVirtuous It's been 4 weeks since this all happened. And it still feels as fresh as yesterday. To me, this indicates that you have been focusing on your perceived loss for a long time. Allegra gave you some fantastic advice. I say perceived loss because although you feel like you lost someone/something, based on what you have shared with us, you really didn't. What you thought you had, you didn't have. quote:
There's just so many unanswered questions & the feeling of humiliation that I can't let go of. Your feelings are real. However, with God's help, you can live above them. You can CHOOSE to let go and not focus on them continually. You are human. Things will come to mind. The dEVIL will make sure of that. Here again, each one of Allegra's recommendations will be sure to help a lot. The only questions that you can be sure to find/figure out an an answer to are why you did or did not do the things that you did. Your "friend" does not seem to have any intention of sharing anything with you. Praise God that He revealed to you right away that your "friend" that you waited for for so long started to date someone else. You don't want to be in a relationship with someone who blames you for his misdeeds. I am sorry for being so cerebral. You have to get yourself together (with God's help) while you still have your emotional health, physical health and your job. Depression can lead to a devastating downward spiral. Howard
