Far too many people swing way to either side, either all intellect or all feeling. God gave us both to use and enjoy, and we should use both when deciding something as important as this
Thank you! I just have let myself swing way to far to the all feeling side before and would
rather not go there again! LOL! I keep wanting to pinch myself because I can't believe this is
happening, he is so exactly the guy I have been praying for literally! (I have a perfect
guy list in my Bible that I wrote two years ago, about three months before I met him and he
matches it to a tee! It's the list that I pray that my husband will be like, the things that matter to
me!) But, like I said, keeping my head on my shoulders and letting God lead this thing!
Besides, it will still be a long while before he gets the nerve up to ask me out, he is so shy! I
love that about him!

And the lesson here is to be sure your list is what you are asking God for because if you have a list asd ask for it, that's what God will bring to you

Youth Group last night was so much fun! It was one of our leaders 50th birthday, so we threw
him a party, we had games, cake, and sang worship songs for the whole service, since praise
and worship is his favorite part of the service. When I pulled up to the church last night, Singing
Boy was playing Basketball with some of the younger teens, but he stopped to say hi, it was so
cute that he would take time to do that. They played this really silly game last night, it's
called "Knight and Princess" it's basically like Simon says only you do it as a team, a knight and
princess. I really didn't want to play, about four of my friends had already asked if I wanted to
be their princess and I had told them no, then Singing Boy came over and asked if I would like
to be his. He didn't really want to play, but he wanted me to get to play if I wanted to, since
neither one of us did though, we opted to stand on the sidelines and talk...*sigh*...it was
wonderful! Then we had a really funny incident with a frog, I won't go into the whole thing since
it is a LONG STORY...but I saved a baby frog some of the kids were attempting to squish and
Singing Boy took it out to the edge of the field and let it go, but it wouldn't go, it kept following
him, it was so funny! I guess I'm not the only one who thinks he is cool! LOL!!
Just watching him pray with the teenagers last night, wow, you can tell that he loves Jesus, his
walk with the Lord makes me stand in awe! I had something I needed our Youth Pastor to pray
with me about last night and I knew three of the other girls that are my friends were behind me
praying, but then I felt a guy's hand on my shoulder, it gave me the chills when I felt him place
it on my shoulder, I thought it was Singing Boy, but wasn't sure. Then, he started praying and
I'd know his voice anywhere, it was so amazing, he just has such confidence when he prays!
He just is so perfect, part of me is scared that this is too good to be true, he matches my list
perfectly, down to the color of his eyes! I only know one thing for sure, he is an amazing young
man and no matter what happens, I will always admire him!

Strange and wonderful!
Isn't there just something about hearing the man you are drawn to praying? I think that is one of the things I'm most looking forward to about doing something this weekend - knowing we'll pray together.

Oh, my goodness, yes!!! Although, I liked listening to Singing Boy pray even before I liked him
more than a friend, there is just something about the way he prays it makes my heart feel like it
is going to jump out of my chest, he just prays with such authority, like he knows that God is
listening and going to answer! My heart is racing and I'm getting chills right now just thinking
about it. We actually got to pray for one of the teens together last night, that was so amazing, it
was so cool, it was like we were equals, like a team, neither one being better than the other.
That is something I have never shared with anyone else I have liked ever before, they always
made me feel inferior, but he makes me feel bold, like I could do anything that God wants me to.

I've actually never been in a relationship where we prayed together before. It is amazing. When he prays I can hear in his voice how much he loves God and how thankfull he is for Jesus, and his desire for God's guidance in everything - including our time spent together.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, on all accounts :)
My coworker just caught me dancing down the hall I thought was empty, he he.
Actually - that's part of what has been SO great so far. He's ONLY see me being "me" ... and he asked me out anyways, ha ha ha. I feel completely comfortable to be myself around him - especially when I notice him watching and he has that kinda twitterpated look in his eyes too ... nothing like being liked while just being yourself.

Sometimes we take our petitions to God and beg "God please do this for me" then we pick it up and take it with us.
"Fix this God!" but we never let go of it long enough for Him to work on it. You prayed previously "God I want a husband (like on my list)" And you just now finally laid your petition down and let God take care of it.
We see this happen in so many things in life. We worry and fret about things instead of trusting God to do what He said He will do. When we trust Him, He takes care of it (in His time of course)
