So this time we did something a little different - saw a movie. So happy for you losgan! My crush is moving at a snail's pace...just now will talk to me in more than two or three sentences at a time...oh, well! Guess it's all for the best, I will be patient, even though I totally stink at being patient! LOL! But, he did tell me I looked really cute last night, which I thought was very sweet! He is such a great guy though, that I think if I really do have a shot at him, I would wait forever... Well, when I type that we went to a movie, just me and him Saturday, and he paid ... well, I feel silly for being the slightest bit worried. We're both very busy this week - we didn't get to talk much tonight, and I'll see him tomorrow night but don't think we'll get to talk much then either. Then I'll be gone all weekend - so obviously we aren't going out, he he. But yeah - it is SO hard to be patient! But he is definitely worth waiting for!

Not much to report on my crush, we saw each other, talked, ya know, the normal Wednesday night routine! One funny thing did happen though, my bff's little three-year-old calls me his "girlfriend" and I was telling one of the other leaders at youth group how sweet I thought it was, anyways, one of the other guys turns to singing boy and was like, "Dude! You gotta crush on a girl that has a boyfriend!" and he turned all red and asked me if I did have one! It was really quite hilarious! And we had an awkward moment when we were leaving last night, I went to go out the door and he put his hand on my shoulder and asked was I going home and I told him yes, and then we just stood there staring at each other for a minute, then he told me bye. It was really weird, kind of gave me goose bumps...anyways like I said not much to report, but we had an awesome service last night!

I think that means you're okay. And yes, the good best things in life ARE worth waiting for. Trust me on that one!

The only problem is there's quite an age gap. I'm 24 and he's 19.

He seems really mature for his age. I would definitely guess him my age or maybe even a few years older.

Well I didn't really know what to call it. It's our schools 40th anniversary so there's a big program. Girls get their hair done up, and wear formal/semiformal dresses and the guys dress up too.

We have a carnival thing at my little brother and sister's school this weekend and I have to run a booth which is going to be super boring if I have to do it by myself. I get some time to look around and the other stuff too, I'm not stuck in the booth the whole time...question is, would it be too forward to ask Singing Boy if he would like to hang out at the carnival? Not like a date or anything, just friends?

Not like a date or anything, just friends? Well, let's see. Would he have reason to go to this carnival anyway? (like younger siblings attending this school) If so, I'd first ask him IF he was going. Maybe bring up the fact that you are working a booth and just see how it plays out. Let HIM look for YOU there. If no reason for him to go, then maybe talk it up to the "group" at church and get all of them interested. Let them know they will be helping out the school AND having fun. Then you can just "bump into him" there....
