Dude, get over it! No sane person blames President Bush for CAUSING Katrina but rather for his slow response to the aftermath. Remember his glowing remark about FEMA's director?

Actually, there were many liberal bloggers who held Bush responsible for the hurricane occurring. In their convoluted thinking, the hurricanes are being caused by Global Warning, and Bush is responsible for Global Warming because Bush did not try to get the Kyoto Treaty passed (which ignores the fact that the Kyoto Treaty was voted down by the Senate while Clinton was still president).

Dude, take a reading lesson. My entire post was about when people stay in a dangerous place during a hurricane, not the hurricane itself.

Frank Burns: "If these people had any gumption, they'd be out looking for a job!"

It may come as a surprise to you, pampered American and all, but it takes acertain amount of wherewithal even to flee - and many of those who remained in NOLA lacked the means to leave. In arrogance, you are blaming the victim - for being a victim.

Who pampers me? I'd like to know.

Nobody was blaming people who were mentally or physically disabled and couldn't get themselves out. Most people that stayed for Katrina were not in those categories.
