Cindy, if you live within driving distance of the Birmingham area, I will be there first week of November at Christmas Village Festival doing Santa photos. Hope you can bring them in. Sam will be bringing his 2 grand kids in on Sat of that week. Nov. 5-9 at Jefferson-Birmingham Convention Center.

Thanks Santa. I love the Christmas Village, but this year I'll be flying back into Atlanta that Saturday after a week in D.C. I'm so disappointed to miss seeing you and Sam that week...plus I would have loved to have my little angels' pictures made with you.

So if you love Christmas Village, you should have seen me there sometime over the past few years. This will be my 16th or 17th year there.

You guys would not believe my day. First of all, the room I was in last night -- I had to check out of it by 11 am. Did that. Waited in car (did y'all know its hot in the desert?) until I heard from office -- about 11:30. They found another room for me -- its nice, still on second floor, but nice. But I couldn't check in until 3pm. I went to the grocery store, did my laundry, everything I could think of to do (this is a very small town) and came back here at 2 pm and just asked if my room was ready. It was!! I have carried up one load of stuff and have to go down and get more. Sharon-Marie -- I can not imagine being a minimalist although if I were on my own -- it would certainly be easier. However, I have a car full of clothes -- regular clothes and uniforms -- shoes, nursing and regular -- groceries -- computer -- and jewelry making supplies. My car was packed! Now I need to go and get some more stuff!

I haven't been able to come for a number of years - something has always conflicted with that weekend, and I didn't know about it when my children were little, but I know Kinlea would be thrilled to see you (and so would her Grandmommy).

Her new job has taken her away from posting. When she gets off work it is family time. She pops in every now and then. Yes, we do miss her.

I think it is going better. But she misses being home with GB very much. So after work that is where her time is spent. With GB and hubby. Don't have time for us and I for one do not blame her.

Is that dish of candy sitting around near you? If so, bet it does not last long.

Just ate. Sloppy Joe's, mashed potatoes and home grown 'maters. Mrs. Edwards Lemon Pie for dessert. Yummilicious.

Are you talking to me about the candy corn. It is just a picture I found and put up because some people were talking about how bad it was and I love it. Unfortunately can only buy it this time of the year.

As far as dinner, we had the new little Thickburgers from Hardee's with chips and water. Am about to have a very small piece of GCC I made last Thursday.

Santa small is a relative term. What is small for me may not be small for someone else.

Bobby I do buy several bags this time of the year and store it up.

I like candy corn too...now you can find it other times of the year and in different flavors...but nothing like the original!!!

Oh...I also like those little candy pumpkins but they tend to be a bit too sweet for me.

They were talking about the ingredients but shoot if I read the labels I would stop eating Potted Meat and Vienna Sausages.
