Jen, that it too funny!

I'm not sure the plumber thought so, lol. Or the parents who had to pay him!

One should not have to clean when one has alone time.

Tonight I sent my husband several emails that basically said shape up or ship out. Prayer would be appreciated.

Well, if one had cleaned when she had the chance yesterday instead of having a lazy day, one would not have had to do so today.

One should be allowed to have a lazy day when one wants too.

One could always name one's dust bunnies and keep them as pets.

The dust bunnies I could care less about at this point, but the dishes were piled up. I hadn't been asking Nate to do any because he has been working so hard, but I didn't do many myself this week and so I had problems. When I went to make pea salad it was not going to go well without some lessening of the problem, lol.

I am getting old and slow and this powerpoint presentation is going to take me all night.

Dishes. Don't get me started. We are having dish issues at my house. I have several dishwashers, but a couple of them don't work very well.

Cindy .. I actually thought to myself.. "Why does she have several? Wouldn't a person just need one dishwasher, load it, run it, empty it..?" Then I realized you meant HUMAN dishwashers.

Brain not working.

Jen what is your pea salad recipe please?

Yep. I am having trouble with the brown-eyed one and the green-eyed one.

Hm. I will give you the recipe if you promise not to tell anyone where you got it.

Pea Salad Recipe (which I didn't steal...but which was given to me by someone who got it from someone who wasn't supposed to share it! LOL)

2 lbs frozen peas (not cheap, chalky peas, but sweet or petite peas)
1 package bacon (in truth, the whole package never makes it into my salad because people smell the bacon cooking and come eat some of it and I don't remember how many slices the recipe called for, lol) cooked and crumbled
1 can water chestnuts, diced finely
1 bunch green onions, sliced thinly
1/2 to 3/4 cup mayo
1/2 to 3/4 cup sour cream (light mayo and sour cream seam to work well, but not fat free)
salt and pepper to taste (and occasionally herbs as suit my fancy)

Mix the first four, mix the rest, then mix 'em together.

Copy and pasted to wordpad!!

Yum. that really sounds good to my pea disliking self.

Cindy you could always just have them eat/drink off the dirties. That helped me alot to appreciate clean dishes when I was growing up.

I'm not sure that would bother them, Brandy.

It's not an issue with getting them clean. It's that certain of my human dishwashers feel that they don't have to wash certain things.

I am familiar with that line of thought...oh, a pot is a dish? I never knew!

My rule: If it touches food, it's a dish.

They seem to feel that if the sink is empty, they are done. Nevermind the stuff all over the counter.

I'd be sorely tempted to put the 'invisible' dishes on their beds.

If I weren't honestly afraid that Jesse would just move them aside, I'd do it.

School was a lot like that for me... even Christian school.

I am here at home again. Timothy was up last night throwing up. He is still throwing up this morning. It isn't hard to tell that he is sick... He is Laying down on the couch watching the camel which he never does.

I am also keeping Sarah home because she still has ringworm spots. I hope that they are gone at the end of the week.

My brain is so fried right now that I can't think. We did get a bit of remodeling done on the house. Won't Mom and AS be surprised! We even made a special place for the piano.

*sigh* There goes Timothy again...

Then I could make up all kinds of stuff that it could mean... like... "Yes, I will let you take me to the Outback and treat me to dinner."

Ahhhhh...well, I thought you already said yes when I talked to you. I mean...who could say no to ME?

I'm glad you're coming AND staying.
