Do we still get to ask questions of the learned Kerrlaw in this new thread, or is it limited to water-cooler chit-chat?

Kerrlaws cooler. Cooler than what? Is he trapped in his walk-in refrigerator?

Oh Wise Counselor Kerrlaw,

A fun question!

What is the significance of this mysterious phrase: "Kenneth, what is the frequency?"

I know the answer! I had to look it up though.

The second significance is that is the title (with the words rearranged) of a REM song.

As far as colostomies, when I worked in a nursing home years back, there was a gentleman who had one that was higher up in his intestinal tract (those of you in the medical field will understand the significance of that) and when he didn't think he was getting enough attention, he would rip the bag off...

Ask anything that you want Bill.

You will have to wait for an answer though, I need to get back to the TN/UCLA game.

Our defense has totally stopped them, but the offense needs to get the kinks worked out.

BTW Sam, I knew that you would be watching.

Seventeen points in the last 1:54.

Felt sorry for those who went to bed early.

Felt even sorrier for us missing the field goal in OT.

That's the coolest!!

Well, since we're sharin' prayer requests I have one that's sort of related to a discussion in the last Kerr thread. My niece--whom I love dearly and we have always been very close--and her "life partner" (don't you love all those politically correct terms?) have a little girl that just turned 1. When I learned of the pregnancy, I was deeply grieved (still am) for the little one because she will never have a normal life. She's an in vitro baby (can't get a baby with two moms....) and even if niece and partner became Christians today and turned from their sin, the little one will always have a complicated situation because of the way things are.

Now this weekend I find out that she is being raised in her other mother's religion---Wiccan. Our family has committed to keep this tiny one covered in prayer. It's just so sad. I'm so thankful our God is bigger than anything.

Praying my friend...

And you're right. God is bigger than this. He can take care of this in ways we cannot.

Praying for this precious child. God has a way of turning what should have been bad into incredible and unimaginable good.

Thank you, my friends! I knew I could count on you!

((((((((y'all))))))))

We're expecting a visit from Gustav tonight and tomorrow. Not nearly what the gulf regions get, but they're predicting 6-12 inches of rain. How are y'all from LA and AL doing????? Praying for you.

I'm sssooo ready for fall. The temps are getting cooler and it's almost time for the state fair!!! I think I'll crank up the air conditioner and make some hot chocolate (organic and honey sweetened, of course).
