I had an adorable VW Jetta that I see a lot of single people driving, but when it was totaled I upgraded to a mini SUV. *sigh* I feel like I just applied the wood paneling, black socks, and sandals.

I have never driven a 2 seater ... but I have driven 4-door Escorts a lot. I wish I had one now ... it was easier on gas. I have too much stuff for a 2-seater and like to be able to tote friends around ...

My car is a Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. This boat is far from being a "guy magnet ..." unless the guy is really into fixing brakes!

"Cute" can be very guy magnetty if the guy finds you cute too. I know a very cute girl who drives one of those cute little pickups. And it is very attractive to me.

Oh, well I will keep that in mind!! Whether the guys at church find me cute...well, I guess that one is still up for debate?!?!

Robb is that a corolla? I have a matrix. Same color.

"Barcelona Red"

Yup, a Corolla. It seems for this model year they've changed the styling so that it matches its big brother, the Camry. The front ends look identical (I think some trim levels on the Camry use a different grille.)

Wow - I'd love to drive some sort of truck, but I'm so short (less than 5 feet tall) that I always have a horrible time just getting into the cab part (it is called a cab right? if so, why is it called a cab?). And if I'm wearing a dress or a skirt ... forgetaboutit! A think a truck, jeep or a mini-suv would probably be more practical for me - although the gas mileage might really suck.

I learned to drive on a 76 Ford Pickup. 3 speed manual transmission on the column, and it was a monster truck (even though I'm tall!) I vividly remember driving it to church (alone) when I was 16 and stalling in the middle of the intersection. I remember being embarrassed by stalling out and remember that it wasn't so ladylike to be driving with a dress on! lol..

But as for present day, I've got a mini-suv. It's got a sunroof which is my favorite feature. Being 5'9" doesn't really coincide well with driving a sports car...I like to have leg room!

But I love my SUV....the mileage isn't bad and I can haul a lot of stuff in it!

I think the grille on mine is almost the same, except the hood is angled different. the corolla and matrix are considered the same car anyway by Toyota.

Mine is Redondo red.

True. My owners manual mentions a lot about the Matrix, and some materials even refer to the "Corolla Matrix".

Yes, I actually read through my owner's manual!

My car probably would be not considered a "singles" car. It's a Pontiac, Bonneville...and it's purple! I really wanted a purple pontiac and didn't think I would be able to get one since I had so little money put aside and would have to just get what I could find. But, there it was sitting off to the side in a lot in Montana waiting for me. So...I'm happy with it.

My other house....

Actually, this is my vehicle, which I almost live in when I'm not at home. Anyway, when I first got it, I drove down to Arizona and everytime I saw another Xterra on the parking lot, I'd park beside it and take a picture. Yeah, the dork in me came out big time then, lol. I still do that whenever I see one, but I don't take pictures anymore.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this? LOL.

I'm on my 4th Ford Taurus. (Well, there was a Mercury Sable in the mix, but it's the same thing).

Little cars scare me. My Taurus is big enough that I feel safe and small enough that I don't feel guilty for driving it.

My Mom wanted me to get a truck, but I couldn't resist the price of $9999 for my new Taurus.

I don't think your house would fit in your car...

Are all four door cars considered "mom" cars? Oh well, I would NOT want a two door car anyway!

The one last hold-overs from my days on the road at my old job are my pick-up and my SUV. Yes I have 2 big vehicles but both are paid for.

I used to say when I turn 30 I'm getting a new car but I don't see that happening.

I drive a Honda Civic Si (the 197 hp Civic) :) Not a 2 seater, but a 2 door - definitely a single car. Or married without kids for that matter - I don't plan to get rid of her anytime soon!
