I take a bow in your general direction, and present the other side of my face, sir...

As I have said, if you feel you have been mis-quoted you are free to voice it.

Open Statement: The real joy of the above comment is that it is an attempt to put me in a "no win" situation. If I ignore it (arguably what would be desired), I'm justifying #2, if I argue in any way I am quasi-justifying #1, and #3 is entirely subjective. So, to avoid giving legitmacy to any of those three, I will simply say that the other side of my face is just as good for the slapping.

Adam

And he goes for # 4....which he did not see which is par for the course. Good for you that was my choice too. Thanks for the chuckle.

Uh....is the other side of your face somehow involved in the Prophecy Club? When I came on these forums I did not know what IHOP was.
Now, I can say I have had a little of the formula myself and I won't be buying the product.

Seeing as how there is a question directed "at" me, I have no guilt answering...

No.

Addendum... you can say you have had a little of me, nothing more.

Feel free to continue the accusations if you must.

What was the first clue that the Prophecy Club was off-track?

Was it when Stan Johnson started saying that God told him "you are Dmitru Duduman"?

Was it when Duduman's prophesied timetable failed? Was it the dispute with Duduman's grandson over what the actual wording of one of the original prophecies was?

Heard enough?

Just remember that a certain road is paved with good intentions and we'd better want to follow Christ and live a holy life more than we'd like to know the future.

Good point. Anyway as Christians we know the future, at least the one that matters. We need to live victoriously in His truth.

Hi All,

I was listening to a radio program by Tim Barrons yesterday and I turned on in the middle of an interview with some guy from The Prophecy Club. He was talking about a prophetess named Leslie and said she was a true Old Testament prophet as opposed to a New Testament prophet. He stated all New Testament prophets were'nt accurate because they hadn't developed their skill yet and needed to pray more, etc, etc. Then he went on to say he was going to discover oil in Israel this year and this would help to encourage the Israelies to stand up against a Palestian state?

He never did say who he was and I was ashamed that Barrons didn't challenge him on his claims of Leslie being very accurate. Isn't a prophet either 100% accurate or not? Is this just another Benny Hinn story?

Rick

Every prophet is 100% accurate, it just depends in which Kingdom it shows up in.

Trust me if we dont see it Jesus kingdom... I can show you where it ended up in the other.

1Co 15:12 - Show Context
Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

"I am angry at this garbage. Can you tell? Yes, it is laughable. But I find it degrading to myself and other Christians. This is not what Chrisitianity is about. These people are LUNATICS. Certifiable. And they are raking it in..........."

And what is worse is they are peddling this false stuff to unsuspecting Christians in third world countries. These very very poor peolpe are hanging on the words of the false prophets in hopes of a prosperity blessing or annointing. How in the world can they walk away from these meetings asking these very poor ones to give (plant a seed). John Piper has a great sermon on this but I don't have the link. It maybe on his website for he keeps all his past sermons and lectures.

Who says they won’t receive one?

The widow’s mite...
…think a bout it….
She was giving into a corrupt system; but Jesus did not remember her because of the corruptness of the Temple, he remembered her for the heart in giving what she had, (which is actually the very work God)

The false prophet and the Temple are the ones who will be taken down....the widows mite is remembered forever,

How do we know for sure that those poor people will not receive a blessing or anointing?

Hey Gypsy

Interesting perspective I have no doubt God looks at each and every heart.....and we give from our 'heart' one way or another. Yes, there is a double meaning intended on that. I cannot speak for the OP, (Rick), but it is the mentality of "give so you can get" that I was referring to...as if to infer that we buy favors from God. Have you checked out that website that this thread is about?
