The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is reviewing complaints from both Americans and Canadians about a Web site columnist who recently described Sarah Palin’s supporters as “white trash,” compared the vice presidential candidate to a “porn actress” and called her daughter’s boyfriend a “redneck” and “ratboy.”

I think the left is really doing Obama, not to mention Sarah Palin, a huge disservice with all the Palin bashing.

I think the left is really doing Obama, not to mention Sarah Palin, a huge disservice with all the Palin bashing.
Guess Obummer will carry Canada. As long as they don't call us "no account (the "a" being silent) white trash", I'm not offended.

I don't get this station on my DirecTV. And most of those that do can't vote for our President. So for me its a non issue.

That artical is representative of the CBC's far far left socialistic agenda, it is even a little more liberal than our Public broadcasting entities here in the States.

Am I the only one who has noticed an increased interest on this forum in our election from those who live in Cananda. I know there is a lot of Anti-american stuff in Canada concerning us. Why are they wanting to have some sort of influence in "our" election?
Why do their taxpayers pay for this suff?

That boggles my mind as well.
They cant vote in this election at all. That would be like us worrying about their elections. I dont know about anyone else, but i dont really care at all about their elections. Except the one in Israel and maybe Iran.

When I was a kid I was one of 7 whites on an otherwise all black school bus. I was called whitey,cracker,paddie,spot,white boy... No big deal, we teased like that all the time. The only time we ever came to blows was the "one" time I was called "white trash". Where I come from it was and is the equivalent of the "N" word. This "journalist" and the Obama camp should apolologize publically on TV and in written statements online and in the paper.
Such a double standard.
