Ok, G-n-M, I'll pray for you too. Exams can be fun, but man, it can be so stressful at times.
I don't really think I'll pass this exam...it's just way too tough. Imagine cramming 6 years of studies, 16 textbooks, plus additional lectures into my head for one big, humongous, final exam. That's what I've been doing, and I'm not doing so well. Plus there are other things that are robbing me of my concentration. I've been praying, but I'll be ok if I fail...I'll try it again next June.

Oh, THAT kind of exam. Yeah, I have one of those coming up in a couple of years. Actually, there's three... Comps, CPSE, and licensure exam. I have five more years of this studying/testing to go.  So trust me, I do understand. I'll be praying for you.
Today, I'm just catching up on lectures and reading... exam is 75 questions, and it's mostly from the lectures. Silly me, I hardly did the lectures! I really should focus more on school, shouldn't I?

Ah well, it's done, right. SO the best you can do is study and hope for the best. That's what I'm doing. Then, I'm going to a spa after, hee hee. A friend gave me a 3 hour pass to a spa after my exam....I could so use it right now.

explaining that the weekend is when people are mostly NOT on the computer since we are generally on during the workday, and how weekends are when we have to deal with our lives outside of work - and that tends to not allow for much time on the computer.

LOL. It works in reverse for me. In a couple of months, I probably wont' be around much during weekends....that's my playtime. Unless I fail my exam, then, no winter playtime for me.
GNM, aren't you supposed to be writing your exam? What time is it over there? It's so dark here already.

I'm at work now and have been working every Saturday for the past few weeks. I attend Saturday night services after I get off work and then on my only day off on Sunday I'm up early to train and then off to serve in Childrens Ministry with 3 yr olds and then Kindergarten kids. But thanks be to God that the priviledge to be able to serve refreshs me more than staying home and sleeping in would.

All this talk of "burn out" reminds me of something....do any of you feel burned out from your daily routine? I'm just getting sick and tired of "going through the motions" every day...stuff to deal with at work, stuff to deal with at church....issues with family and friends, etc. I need to feel inspired again. I don't make enough time in my life for "new experiences," but it's tough to do with all my current obligations.....
Any of you feel the same?

I feel like going out on a date right now. (I don't have one tonight though ... but maybe soon ...). There is such a natural fit between men and women - a dynamic that I enjoy - and it would be nice to experience that right now.
Other than that, I'm a bit tired but I'm getting ready to do a wee bit o' shoppin'. I normally don't shop, but tonight, I'm going to!
Oh - and I'm thankful to be working - to have a job!
