Hi Ashley,
Im so glad that I heard from you tonight, I want you to know that you are very welcome!! And thank you for asking me if I'd like to talk to you with what I have been going through, I may share that with you sometime soon.

Ya know, you put a smile on my face as well, when I read the words, "I do want to start believing and trusting God again." Thats a start Ashley, and its very important, because that tells me, that you arent letting your anger, frustration and not understanding turn into bitterness toward God. And you saying that you will try to start praying in the morning and at night before you go to bed, really touched my heart. Ya know, it doesnt matter where we are, whats going on around us, but as a believer and follower of Christ, we have that open communication with Him no matter where we are. But I believe, and I have read, when we start our day off with Him, it really does make a difference.

I had to go to the store earlier, and as I sit in the car, I heard a song that reminded me of you, it said, when our faith runs out, Jesus Christ is still our HOPE. Your going to be just fine. And tell your mom, she is very welcome as well. And please let me know when you speak to your Grandmother, just ask her not to accept defeat Ashley, as I said before, Our Lord is the GREAT Physician.

The Bible I have is a Life Application Study Bible, the (NIV) New International Version. Please let me know if I need to get you one. And please keep in touch.
Love,
Misty

Please do. I feel like I need to listen and help with your difficulties right now, since you have listened and helped with mine.

I really don't have any bitterness towards God, I love Him very much, but it's hard to understand sometimes how He works. But posting on this forum & getting replies from a lot of people here has really helped me tons. Lately whenever I have started to doubt God, I think of your encouraging words and everyone else's and it really helps me.

Wow, I have no idea you think of me that much, thank you. I will tell my Grandmother as soon as I can. Right now she is in a lot of pain and can't really understand what people tell her. So maybe tomorrow.

I'll see if I can find one at a local Christian store we have around here. I'll let you know if I can't find any.

I have a daughter thats 16, and she has been saved, and here lately, since speaking with you, I have really ask myself the question, if I were to see my parents or anyone close to me, suffer and in pain, how would I handle it? And Im sure that I would feel the same way you do, thats why I was never quick to pass judgment, as you know, thats not our place, but instead, I have tried to place myself in your shoes Ashley. And I really cant imagine how I might feel, but I know this, the Lord understands everything we are feeling, and He wont leave us.

And I do think about you, and thats because the Holy Spirit will make us very sensitive to others who are in need of help. He will bring all this into perspective for you, one day at a time.
Love,
Misty

And dont you ever forget what I told you, I believe He is molding you into that fighting soldier He wants you to be to further His Kingdom, and to bring others to Christ. Something so tragic Ashley, He can make so very beautiful, always keep your "Eyes of the Heart" open to Him, and not the eyes of the flesh.

I'm thankful that you don't pass judgment. It's nice to talk to someone who listens and tries to understand instead of judge you, you know?

I am slowly starting to try and bring back the faith that I have lost within the past year and a half. I know it will take some times, but I'm willing to have patience and ask God for him to forgive me for being so negative and for being angry with him.

I won't forget that, I actually want to print it out once my printer gets working :P

Do you mind id I e-mail you if I ever need to talk or even just to update you on how I'm doing?

You are very welcome :) And just so I dont take away Glory from God, tonight before you go to bed, when you are talking to Him, be sure to thank Him, He deserves all the praise. I'm very thankful to Him, its because of you that I came to the forum. I have always received the newsletters through email, but it was what you said that caught my attention, at the bottom of the newsletter, it said, "I think I have lost my faith in God." Do you see how much He loves you, He cares so much about you Ashley that He placed your headline on that newsletter for everyone to see, out of thousands of people who post here, He knew you were in need, so out of 3, you were one of them! It was your statement that brought me here, so see, God has ways of bringing people in one anothers paths in times of need and comfort. But remember, its our Lord Ashley that has comforted you through other people.....now how amazing is that?

Im going to bed now. I want you to get up in the morning, with a new attitude ok? You wake up knowing that He finds you worthy and He cares and loves you :)
Love,
Misty

"He'd lived in the darkness for so long he didn't know that it was dark. Dark was normal, and since he'd never experienced light, dark didn't seem dark to him."
