the point is not to like or dislike the characters of the bible. rather the fact that they had very distinct characteristics that can help us become christ like or to help us see what we need. david had a repentant heart, mechaiah had a bold truth no matter who it offended. you see these are just a couple that are missing in many people claiming christ in our churches today. christianity is not a slogan on a t shirt or the search for riches in material things. this ius the base of many people claiming christ today. this is why it is important to recognize characteristics of the characters that god has used in the bible.
