And you call me mindless. My comments about stalking the wolf was in regard to hunting. When hunting moose or caribou, one has to stalk the animal. Wolves cannot be stalked the same way. They move too fast.

That was one of my points though: All things that are alive aren't of the same value. An asparagus isn't as important as a wolf isn't as important as a Human. Biblically speaking, animals don't have spirits. They are mechanically and biologically alive and have instinct and rudimentary emotions, but they are not "made in the image of God" and do not have spirits. When they die, they dissolve into the ground from which they were made never to return again (sorry pet lovers).
