Hmm, yes your comment sounds like a No duh thing to me now, but at the time it was the first time I had to find a babysitter that I had to pay. I'm still not sure why I didn't discuss it with her beforehand.

So it was $90...does that mean that she had them for 9 hours?
That seems excessive for just a night out for it to cost $90...but if it was over night...then I guess I can see it costing a little bit more than normal...but gosh, seems like you would have had some warning of the cost.

We were gone for 10 hours in Tampa at a concert (some friends had gotten us tickets to see YES). Anyway, it was not an overnight thing. And yes, the smart person would ask about the cost, but I just assumed that I wouldn't be getting charged an arm and a leg.
