I thought of something but it doesn't really pertain to a date (because I don't plan on having a date for breakfast and if I do I won't be eating cereal!) but I like to take a bite of Fruit Loops and chase it with a bite of toast. I won't 'mix' the two, but I'll eat them together in the same bite.

i like to scoop up baked beans with potato chips

my dad...and now my daughter...eat grilled PB & cheese sandwiches. then my daughter will dip hers in ketchup.

i like PB on Oreos

when i was little....i counted every pea i'd eat. did the same thing with mac & cheese noodles. (nothing else...just those 2 things. don't ask me why. lol)

thot of a couple more:

i used to put butter on my ham (very healthy, yes? giggle)

and, of course, we've already covered the butter on pop-tarts

I like (Ruffle type) chips dipped in sour cream. The dips are usually too salty but I love sour cream! mmm.....

Well the first time I did it one of my roommates gave me the raised eyebrow. She then said "we have dips, you know". lol

LOL! Well, I guess my friends never commented because I can just be strange anyway

sometimes! I also like to dip my fried chicken in honey, I'm told that's weird, but majority of my

cousins do it too, so I never thought of it as weird.

You know Gary, I read this last night and I tell you, it put a whole new light on my drive to work in the mornings. I feel like I'm going down miles of someone's buffet!

This discussion reminds me of a science fiction novel I read many years back. An alien spy's cover was blown because of the particular way he ate his food... one thing at a time, and nothing touching anything else. (They just thought it was weird until a captured alien pointed out that's how all their people ate.)

Either we have a lot of aliens on this forum or the author just didn't get out much.

I think a LOT of humans are like this - I get weird looks for eating in no particular order, bouncing from item to item, and letting them get all mixed up.

Today at lunch I ate pineapple, carrots, and raisins - all mixed together. My coworkers were appalled.

The other day I ate the parsley on my plate. Usually I don't, but it is edible, is supposed to freshen breath, clean the palate, and how can that little thing have any calories?

Now I used to eat that when I was a teen.

I was thinking about this last night as I ate a chicken salad sandwich and was picking out the chunks of celery.

Does anyone else pick stuff out of their food? I try not to make it noticeable when I do so...

I pick nuts out of desserts.

I also leave tomatoes behind. Sometimes I like fresh tomatoes on my hamburgers or sandwiches, but cooked tomatoes.... They generally get left behind.

I was thinking about this thread the other night when I was eating taco sauce sprinkled on my popcorn. My Hubby turn me on to this. Tacobell sauce works well. It has to be something with no chunks. Yum!

My ex boyfriend got me eating salsa and cheese on my scrambled eggs. I don't do it as often as I did when we were together, but occasionally I will. *shrug*

Ohh..Funbetty...your post about the chicken salad does remind me that I love dried cherries in my chicken salad. That seems to turn a lot of noses but it is sooo good!

And Tink....salsa on scrambled eggs is very good! One of the towns I lived out west in seemed to put salsa on everything (well...not everything...but a lot of things) I used to think it's weird but acquired a taste for it. Now everyone here thinks I got weird eating habits from my time out west....and of course this is coming from people who eat pickled bologna!
