Saraimay - I would guess A is not true. If you are old enough to remember E.T. when you were a kid and you were scared by it (so you weren't a teenager probably) then maybe you might have been old enough to have gone to the Bad or Dangerous tour. I could see the telemarketer. Neat people usually don't say they are neat though (although I might be wrong).

That's my guess.

So nobody's gonna take a shot at this one?

Here's another...

(1) I've had my picture taken with James "Scotty" Doohan
(2) I've met one of the key people from the production staff of the Star Wars movies (among many other films).
(3) I have Mark Hamill's autograph on my Star Wars DVD set

-Robb

I guess that you have not had you picture taken with James "Scotty" Doohan.

Sorry, I actually do have a picture of me and "Scotty" - taken at a Star Trek convention way back when I was in college. The talk he gave was hilarious, and he seemed to really enjoy the fans.

And just two years ago I met Ben Burtt, the sound designer for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and a host of other movies. (Most recently, the "voice" of WALL-E.) Also a really nice guy. He autographed my Star Wars DVD set, not Mark Hamill (never met him).

I'm too behind to catch up so I'll post 3.

1). I have hypoglycemia.

2). I am both near-sighted and far-sighted in my right eye.

3). I was hospitalized for Avian Flu in 2004.

You right I am not a neat person. I worked as a telemarketer for three day and I quit I hated so much And I have seen Michel Jackson in consert.

rgod and saraimay,

Oh, you both are wrong! I love the song You and Me by: Lifehouse, it is currently my cell's

ring tone! And I have met all of Rush of Fools and know their names by heart, Jamie-drums,

Wes-lead singer/guitars, Jake-bass guitar, JD- keyboards and guitars, and Kevin- electric guitar.

They all sing background vocals and are super cool guys! I've seen them twice this year

already! The false one was that I have kissed my current crush, yeah, the only place I have

done that is in my dreams...LOL!

Okay, my next three-

1. I own and love to shoot a compound bow.

2. I love playing flag football.

3. I loved running on my High School's track team.

I vote that #1 is not true, but truly a wish!

For me:
1. I am a figure skating fan.
2. I am an ice hockey fan.
3. I like to watch golf on TV.

I would say 3 is untrue.

ORIGINAL: rgod

OK - here are mine:

1. I called 911 when I was a kid because I thought my parents were missing.
2. I called Japan once and had a huge phone bill.
3. I called my ex-boyfriend and pretended to be another girl.

I say that 2 is untrue.

Saraimay - Sorry - but #3 is untrue.

1. I have 29 firearms, rifles, shotguns, handguns, etc.
2. I once killed an elk with a pistol.
3. I once drove an eighteen wheeler through a blizzard in Pennsylvania in the dark.

MaleorderBride - I'm going to guess that number two is the lie. Here is why. I once knew a guy who had lots of guns. He knew the exact number and would mention it; he also made differentiation between the different types - like you did. So, this seems legit. I could also see driving the 18 wheeler through the blizzard in PA in the dark. It is so scary and dangerous, it seems like something you'd definitely talk about after you are done. Somehow though, the elk and the pistol seems wrong. It seems to me, that if you killed the elk, that you'd be more specific about the type of pistol, particularly since you were very careful to talk about the number and basic types of weaponry you have. Plus, can you shoot an elk with a pistol - or would you need a rifle? I know absolutely nothing about guns except that a rifle has a long barrel and a pistol has a short one.

Anyway - that's my guess!

I'm going to guess #3, just because you seem like the type of guy who would have a lot of guns,

It is possible to kill an elk with a pistol, I was watching a hunting show the other day with my dad

and they did it, so that one could be legit. (And yes, I hunt and watch hunting shows, LOL!)

Number three just seems like it could be the lie, not sure, just seems probable to me.

I did not know this. Interesting piece of information. Jesuschick, have you ever listened to God's Great Outdoors? It is a ministry program about hunting and other outdoor sports:

http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/gods_great_outdoors/

I ran across it the other night and thought it was pretty interesting. I'm not into hunting or the outdoors myself, but I liked seeing how others viewed hunting and its relationship to their faith.

Yes, I have heard of God's Great Outdoors, my dad watches it sometimes. I also liked how they

related hunting to their faith, sometimes, hunting can consist of some pretty rough guys, so that

was really a breath of fresh air! I'm a country girl at heart,(even though I try to fight it and act

like I'm not sometimes!) anyway, so hunting and the outdoors just kind of come with the

territory down here, but I LOVE IT!

Wow... five days since the last post. I'll get us back on track (especially since I'm having a hard time getting motivated this morning)

1. I personally know a NASCAR driver, and my dad was his Sunday School teacher.
2. When I was younger, I drove go-carts, mini-bikes, and dirt bikes in the field near my house.
3. I once owned a Shelby GT my dad painted candy-apple red.

Michelle, let's see...
As cool as I think 3 is...I'm going to guess it.

Here's my new three:

1). I used to work in a Call Center
2). I was almost a chemistry major in college.
3). My dad worked for the CIA as an informant in the 70s.

Michelle - I'm going to guess #3. I think that dirt bikes, go carts, and mini bikes were popular when you were growing up (as they were when I was) so this could be true. It was a toss up between one and three. I know that there is a race track in the state where you live, so you could know a NASCAR driver. So, I'll guess the #3 is the pie.

Sunshinesoprano - Logic would lead me to guess #3, but I'm going to pick #2 instead. Call it a hunch.

Y'all are right, #3 was the lie. It was a '66 Mustang, not a sporty model.

SSS, I'm going to guess #2... Chemistry just doesn't seem that close to music... maybe that's just me.

rgod, where's yours?

I'll have to come up with another one soon.

LOL!

Yay for rgod and me!

#2 is incorrect! I was almost a chemistry major! I had a full chem honors scholarship lined up but chose my music over a lab coat.

My dad was in Libya in the 70s with the air force, but not a super spy!

Ok, forum friends. Let’s get this game rolling again. I’m bored at work and Oct hasn’t ended yet. There’s still time to give everyone a few fun, and zany facts about yourselves.

So, which one of these 3 is not true about me:
1. I live in the coldest city in Canada
2. My ex husband’s name is Tim Hortons
3. Though I’ve never lived in an igloo, I know how to build one.

Ph, I'm going to guess...#3, but it's a sheer guess!

Okay, here's three for me-

#1 I love to listen to Kids In The Way/Red/Disciple when I get stressed or upset about something, the loud music seems to soothe me.

#2 I could eat mushrooms all day long...fried ones, sauteed ones, any way you fix 'em, I love 'em!

#3 I have been waiting forever to get the chance to go to a Dallas Cowboys Football Game!!!

JC247, I'm not going to respond yet on your guess, but I would venture to guess that #2 is not right about you. I know a lot of people who hates mushrooms. I actually love them!

I'm not responding yet on yours either, but I will tell you that I have been known to order a Portabella burger before...

Ooo, I love portabella mushrooms! I use them in my spaghetti or lasagna sauce; sometimes as meat replacement. Ok, then, I have to guess #3, because #1 sounds something like you would do.
