I have so much homework this week. There is stuff I need to get caught up on, present stuff that needs to get done, and future stuff that I need to start...Why can't the week be longer???

Yeah it would be nice for the week to include at least 4-5 extra days

Also, what's a fine way to scare the prankster kiddies away from your house if you are not contributing to their tooth decay? Sit on a darkened porch and hear your chained dog bark at them all?

I'd say, just be yourself!

Nah, that was for the right person. I always hate it when a free autographed picture of mine is turned down over Beckham's , lol!

You can give the picture to MediumOneOne, or the person to her left (the right person)- I have no preference. So you've just been yourself in the past and had no trouble. Okie-dokie! Thanks for the tip.

Yup, tried it....turns out I'm a kid magnet....so now. So maybe you can be my role model on how to um....turn off people....

Just messing with you One John...you know I like you...I really like you....despite you..........LOL....

Now that is cool!

I have a confession to make. I have sinned. Yesterday afternoon I watched half a soccer game.

Or at least I think it was a soccer game. Lots of 10-14 year old kids running around like wild indians whooping and kicking the tar out fo a little ball that never did anything to them. Didn't seem to be any plays nor any rules. And teh fights are definitely better in hockey.

I did see one kid get wailed on to teh back of the ehad by a directly kcked ball (about 5 foot range). Knocked her over but she got right back up. Yep, the fights are better in hockey.

Today I took a bike ride and will soon be taking the Girl to swim practice.

Did some work for mom and dad and bought a 3day 2 night cruise. (It really ends up being more of 1 day with the nights around it) probably a scam but I'll research it and see. Never did the cruise thing so it might be a good experince for me. Now I just need to find someone to go. Or perhaps I'll go alone and see if I can meet anyone.

Oh, Veronica... those pictures are absolutely breathtaking!! Makes me wish I lived up there!

I've gotta share a God-story. I've been needing a good, sturdy set of chairs for my kitchen table but I didn't want to spend a fortune for them. I really enjoy restoring furniture, so something old is perfectly acceptable. Well, I've also been wanting to trade in my truck for a smaller car and I found a car I like. Problem was, I didn't have all the furniture I was looking for and worried that if I sold the truck tomorrow I'd have trouble getting the furniture home.

So this afternoon, I drove by a cute little thrift shop between appointments. I looked for a couple of specific things and didn't find them, so I mentioned my need for chairs. They happened to have some in the shed. So we go to the shed and I see another set of chairs that I fell in love with. Only problem was, there's only three of them. I guess that's not a big deal since I don't have a big family. So they're absolutely perfect, and very sturdy... and the timing was perfect, too. And I get to start another restoration project! WooHoo, I'm happy. Oh, and the price? $5.00 each! God is good!!

I'm thinking about either a Corolla or a Camry, used. I need something comfortable for all the driving I do. This will bring the payment down and give me better gas mileage. I've always wanted a truck, and this is a good one, but I just don't use it enough to justify the cost, kwim?

There ya go! You take my payments.... I will miss sitting up higher than the rest of the traffic, but the seats are killer, especially for my 14-hour drives. I need something more comfortable.

I can heartily recommend the Corolla.

Finding them used can be tricky though. When I was looking, used ones just a few years old were selling for only a couple thousand less than brand new, and that was when you could find them.
