How is that truthful in any way? Do you have any tangible evidence about Obama's "so called " ties to terrorists, no, no one does. So how does that make it truth if it's based on hearsay and assumptions?

I think the ad is kinda funny. They make it sound like Obama and Ayers are palling around devising Domestic Attacks on the United States.

Yes. Russia and Alaska are divided by the Bering Strait, which is about 55 miles at its narrowest point. In the middle of the Bering Strait are two small, sparsely populated islands: Big Diomede, which sits in Russian territory, and Little Diomede, which is part of the United States. At their closest, these two islands are a little less than two and a half miles apart, which means that, on a clear day, you can definitely see one from the other.

But to claim that Obama is a terrorist that being protected by our secret service and somehow hid his terroristic background and intent from the FBI and other agencies that investigate ALL presidential candidates is beyond nonsensical.
McCain claims to put "country first" and yet will stoop to tearing the country apart with false terrorism accusations simply to win an election. What's next, using the "n" word on Obama or calling him "boy"?

Sneaking in and taping a picutre of Obama on the 'most wanted' list at the post office doesn't make it a 'fact' that he's wanted.
Putting up Obama's picture next to a picture of the pentagon doesn't mean he bombed it, like McCain's add says.
Putting up Obama's and Ayers pictures, then saying that its a "fact that they bombed the pentagon" doesn't mean he did it.
Its called slander. There's a commandment against it.

I know all that, but thanks for the refresher. . Again what proof do you have or any other people who make these claims have that's "palling" around with him, there's none because it's not true. Did he know him, yes, we have tangible fact that proves that. Was he palling around with him, nope, people have tried to find "proof" but have yet to find any so in enters the lie about him "palling around". Again I could go on about this, but this is about whether or not the ad holds some truth and such, it doesn't. If you would like to discuss McCain's "palling" around with a terriorist, I'll be more to have that conversation with you in the thread where that discussion has already been started.

Exactly.
From past experience I suspected there would be swift boat/willie horton attacks, but didn't think it would be painting Barack as a terrorist, or that the attackes would be coming directly from the McCain campaign.
The thinly veiled accusations are more than outrageous, they are lies and slanderous. Lying is a sin. Lying is a sin even if you are a Republican. Lying is a sin even if it feels good to tell the lie.

I have not ever said he would stoop to that level. However, to keep denying that he has ties to some shady characters is to be willfully ignorant of the facts.

So Obama's lies about his relationships with Ayers, Rezko, Wright, etc? Should all be ignored and not dared be talked about? I am sincerely asking because if it was McCain who sat under a racist and hateful preacher/church for over 20 years.. if it was McCain who was deeply involved with a full fledged terrorist.. if it was McCain who was involved with utterly corrupt Chicago Machine Politics.. I doubt you or a lot of other outlets would be saying they should be non-issues.
McCain has a lot of flaws and all politicians are liars.
But this blind allegiance to the One is just downright surreal to witness. The swallowing and bypassing of anything and everything for the Anointed One to be elected is surreal.
Something out of a science fiction novel.

The ads clearly are intended to make people think that Obama was involved in the acts that Ayers committed.
Fifty seconds of Side-by-side pictures of Barack Obama, William Ayers, and the pentagon, accompanied by ominous music, a quick photo of Bill Ayers and his wife then the narrator says ‘we know they bombed the capital, pentagon, a judges’ home’ then in big letters “I feel we didn’t do enough”, then immediately back to side-by-side photos of Barack and Wm. Ayers.

How close are McCain and Liddy? At least as close as Obama and Ayers appear to be. In 1998, Liddy's home was the site of a McCain fundraiser. Over the years, he has made at least four contributions totaling $5,000 to the senator's campaigns -- including $1,000 this year.
Last November, McCain went on his radio show. Liddy greeted him as "an old friend," and McCain sounded like one. "I'm proud of you, I'm proud of your family," he gushed. The ones that inspired him to plan the murder (never carried out) of an unfriendly newspaper columnist?

In 1994, after the disastrous federal raid on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, he gave some advice to his listeners: "Now if the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms comes to disarm you and they are bearing arms, resist them with arms. Go for a head shot; they're going to be wearing bulletproof vests. ... Kill the sons of b****es."

I proposed the same thing and referred the person to the thread that listed a few names... but...
Thanks for bringing up at least one for those who are so persistant on believing the fallacies of the McCain/Palin camp that this man is associated with a terriorist. Goodness...
