He just release a new single! It is a parody of T.I.'s "Whatever You Like". Check it out on his myspace here!
Its a song that deals with the economy.

I'm not a fan of TI, nor that style of music, even though I have been exposed to it. I do like Weird Al's version. He's so clever in his parody's it's amazing how well thought out they are, and except for the lyrics, how much he sounds like the artist's originals. His video of White and Nerdy is great. Ha-Ha. The original version drove me crazy, I heard it almost everyday last summer coming from kid's car stereo's. I like his better.

I'm not familiar with the original song, so some of it's lost on me. I like Weird Al, though. e-bay is my favorite.

I think that it is strange that I only heard the original about 2 weeks ago, and now Weird Al already has a parody of it! Makes me think that the song has actually been out for a while now.
BTW, while I think it is a good pre-release, I hope that it doesn't end up being the main single to the album though. While good I hope there is much better instead!

In an age where artists come and go almost daily, it's amazing to think that Weird Al's first hit was in 1982! Remember "Another One Rides The Bus"? (From Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust", for those who weren't born yet)

I am and have been a huge fan of Mr. Yankovic's for a long time. I think he is very talented at what he does. I particularly enjoy his original work. His ability as a song-writer really shines through with those songs. I wish there were more of them, though.
I'd love to see him live sometime. I think that would be a good show!
