Hi everyone, this is my first "real" posting (if you do not include the header) since we switched over to the new forums. It is 5:30AM right now and I have been finding it hard to sleep. I am glad to report that it is at least Friday! Also, I have been seeing God's provision with strength with my job through out this week. I am happy in that regard!

I had a lot that I wanted to say but I seem to be having a certain amount of writers block right now. Oh well, lets see if I can remember even if I am not in particular state of mind. I wanted to talk about how timeless certain songs from the 1980's where. Such songs as Midnight Oil's "Beds Are Burning" is such a song that did not sound like it came out in the 1980's per say, but could very easily been a 90's song instead. I wanted to talk about perceptions and how we are not always right in what we think is going on around us; that actions sometimes cause reactions. I did have more on this, but I cannot affectively articulate it at the moment.

Well, not a whole lot to write about right now. My back has been bothering me almost all week plus I have been sick off and on as well. I went home early both Monday and Tuesday. I wanted to go home early today as well but could not leave 'til 3PM. I prayed for mercy today and I do believe that Jesus gave it to me. :)

My back has been feeling better finally, but I have been sick off and on over the past week. Also, its been a tiring and difficult week on the whole for me both in my life and online as well. Wednesday at work, at the beginning of the day, "I was like lets tackle all this work!" Then in the middle of the day some work came in that just killed all the wind in my sails. It was very tedious work, and made me feel tired. Because of that and other things at work as well, I just have been stressed the remainder in the week. Today was a State Holiday as well. You would think because of that people would be in more of a casual mood, but not so though. Sometimes I really think that there is something in the water that makes people act more like morons more on certain days of the month than others. All I know is this, I made it through the week all with Jesus's help!

Well, it is time for another entry into my blog. Today was a good day. I saw my brother and my mom. I went to a movie with my brother but while in the movie, there was someone who was drunk making noise at inappropriate times. Theater staff finally showed up and the man was asked to leave. He refused to do so and he started to become belligerent. They ended up stopping the movie and turning the lights on to remove this guy. By that point both my brother and I were no longer into the movie and we both asked for a refund.

Jesus is the victory and the answer to life's problems I have a testimony that I want to share, with some prompting from a friend to post it. Lately I have been having some real issues with fear. Sometimes it is very overwhelming and I do not think that I can cope! Other times it is not nearly as bad but still overcomes me none the less. This morning was one such times where while it wasn't so bad, it was still more than what could generally be coped with. I prayed to Jesus to help me through this fear, and I felt in my spirit that I should sing victory songs. So I started doing just that. I started to feel better. I started also reading a book this morning by Chuck Swindol called Perfect Trust as well. This helped me also showing that we are to have a totally reliance on Jesus in every aspect of your life. Now let me tell you, this is not easy at all! Reading this book also seemed to help me feel much more at peace also, and not only that, but have confidence and faith that everything will work out to be ok also. This is another thing that I struggle with, realizing that Jesus in fact in control of absolutely every aspect of my life. Jesus is teaching me a real lot of things, He is teaching me to trust and fly. This is also very much a challenge as I feel like I am constantly falling and just starting to flutter my wings to stop from falling and to fly. Well, that is about the gist of things at the moment. I hope that this posting inspires you to be encouraged and not to give up hope! In the meantime, please say a prayer for me because I have not arrived there yet but am still going through the battle. Thank you for reading. Blessings, Mike

Just checking in. Not a whole lot to post right now. I have not been feeling like posting much the last few days either. If you want to keep in touch while I am in lurking mode, then please feel free to either post in my Humble Replies thread or send me an email, as I am willing to respond to both of those, with the later being that I know you. Blessings, Mike

Ok, time for another post. I have not been sleeping well lately, and that has been a concern. My doctor has prescribed a sleeping pill, but I as of yet to get the right dose. In other news, I find it interesting to pop around blog town and read threads, whether its Rachel with her poetic like writing, Darcy with her view on life around her, Rosie with daily thoughts, or reading about Concentrated2God and her kids, everyone whether mentioned here or not who has a blog here in forums have something to offer! This all comes to my next topic to mention. I noticed that some of the blogs only have 4 stars. There does not seem any rhyme or reason to this at all, however I was wondering if I could request to all of you who read this thread that if you see a blog with only 4 stars, to go vote in the first posting of the thread so that it has 5 stars instead? That would be very nice of you all! Well, thats everything for now, please wait until next time when I put in the next installment of the Humble Rumble!

Boston is so nice in the Summer time. It is less crowded, the pace is slower, people are not as much in a rush, and with the exception of the humidity, it is very nice to be outside as well. The only agravation is that while the big dig is finished, the above ground is still being worked on, thus sidewalks constantly are being moved around to accomodate the construction for what the new above ground is going to look like. I will post a couple of pictures of before and after as soon as I get a chance.

Hi Everyone! Hey guess what, its the weekend! Well, its been more than a week since my last posting and my blog is back on page two again. Well, we will see about that and return it to side one instead! Now, a word about my signature. I want to especially thank Soccerguy for coming up with the quote in my signature. I was mentioning in a thread about how I was "Meant To Live" on Christianity.com, which he is from, but that when I sent an email out asking for which name people liked best that by overwhelming vote that I should be Humbleinspirit. So he came up with the quote that you see here now. While I have known come to know and enjoy a lot of friendships from of you here on Crosswalk for a real long time, I have a special fondness for the Christianity.com folks. It was fun becoming a lounge lizard. It was cool when the CC crew saw my handle and dubbed it "meant to live here!" I enjoyed chatting with people in the chat room too, which was much smaller than Crosswalk's, and felt something like the chats that we all used to have years ago on CW, Kimberly's chat room, etc. Now we are all in new digs, both Crosswalk and Christianity.com. The place is spacious and the walls have a smell of new paint and we now have state of the art features. I miss the old Christianity.com though, as it had that special quaintness that Crosswalk used to have too years back also. But times change and things evolve and I know that some of you still log in from CC, without realizing that there is another entrance on the CW side as well. So we are just like the Brady Bunch now. We new it was much more than a hunch, and this is how we became the Brady Bunch!

It's time for another post. I do not know what to really write about right now, but I need to post something to keep my blog alive. This is getting hard trying to remember to post something at least every 10 days. I usually end up going through blogging fears such as did I make a post in time? Oh well, I guess that this posting will have to do. At least Fall is coming, then it will be winter way too soon, oh well. Until next time, Blessings, Mike
