If we had to wait for my bad [puns] to stop hurting there would be a long dormancy.

I do hope your back gets feeling much better and Deb and my chairs get all fixed so we can get together for lunch soon.

Deb is chomping at the the bits to get back into Boston. I like to horse around with her in Boston (and elsewhere), too.

Looks like this thread has become dormant again.

Most of the threads were pretty dormant this weekend, it seemed to me. I'm not sure why folks were so quiet. Sorry you felt ignored, Mike. Hopefully the conversation will pick up now that people are back to their weekday schedules.

Hiya Ray, Deb and John! My back has been feeling a bit better, thanks for asking! Half the week is over now, just 2 more days left until the 3 day weekend. I am wondering whether I will take a day trip somewhere or not?

Where would you go on a day trip? We're planning one to Lexington and Concord with a friend who has a wheelchair accessible van. I'd like to see Louisa May Alcott's home and Walden Pond. We'd also like to take the Acela to Providence sometime.

I've ridden most of the commuter rail and subway lines in the greater boston area, and the disel Amtrac train to Providence and back on day trips. But I've never been on the Acela yet. Gotta try it some one of these days.

Do you like trains, Mike? My Dad's dad was a train engineer so of course I love trains.

Much to respond to here.

Thanks Sharon, Sharon-Marie, Deb, Colleen and Rach for the birthday wishes! Today was fairly quiet and I didn't tell anyone at work about my birthday at all. I am glad its the weekend. I will post more comments later!

Trains are nice, but I am not nearly as found of them as I used to be though. Now taking the Acela to Providence? That is something that I have not previously considered, that could be fun!

As far as a day trip, I have thought about either Maine or Connecticut, but I am not so sure now though. I am feeling quite unmotivated at the moment. Maybe I will just stay local instead.

Because I have seen shows of it on cable and the more and more I hear of it, the more I realize just how of an amazing wonder that it is!

Hi Deb, now lets see, I would like to visit England, go to San Francisco again. Visit Seattle, check out both Phoenix and the Grand Canyon and finally San Diego as well.
