Hi Mike, Looks like you have a great time ahead of you. You enjoy your time away and come back safe and sound.

Safe Travels Mike and hope you have a great time!

Deb and John that is so sweet to treat Mike for a belated b'ay! Can't wait to hear when it all comes together.

We are going to have some interesting weather here in Wisconsin this weekend. Hoping for you all that it not end up where the GT is.

Oh, and I thought this was cool. The Weather Channel showed and talked about Lake Winnebago this morning. Even mentioned Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. The "shot" was like from virtual earth satellite? Anyway... it was cool.

Good morning everyone!

Hi Sharon-Marie, Judy, Sharon and Esther!

I made it back about home about 11PM last night and was ironically rather awake at that point. I had a really great time meeting with people from last year and meeting new friends as well!

Esther is a really interesting and fun person! While she seems kinda reserved and proper online, she is actually quite a wit! And a great singing voice as well!

I do not have to work today at all, so I will be catching up here in forums instead.

Awww...*blushes*, that's very sweet of you to say.

Careful there, Mike, or we'll find out whether it's possible to get sent to the flirt thread from one's own PFY!!

Tell us more about the GT, Mike. Where was it? What activities did you have? Was it all singles? Did you all go to church? Give us details!

Hi Deb!

It was a great weekend!

Yes, it was all singles, however that could be changing though by next year.

Friday night we had pizza and did Karoake.

On Saturday we were on a boat and rented something that attached to the boat that also had a slide and a barbeque, etc. Saturday night we all just talked for a while.

On Sunday we went out for breakfast at a buffet, then went to church. We were introduced to the Pastor and th pastor looks at me and says "yes, I remember you from last year!" The only thing is that I didn't go to the church last year at all, I had an earlier flight, lol!

After that we went back to the house for a while before going back to the airport. 3 of us were on the same ariline, so we hung out for until each persons flight was ready. Mine was the latest and I got home at just about 11PM.

Do let me know if you have any other questions.

Oh, it was in Southern Indiana! The only bad thing was that Indiana had severe rain and some lakes flooded over with roads being covered over, etc. We were afraid that we were gonna need an alternate route home instead, but Praise God, it all worked out ok.

Here is a picture of us all at the church yesterday.

All of this reminded me again how I would like to move out of Boston.

Guess your birthday lunch will be delayed even longer, Mike. Here's a quote from my most recent post in Here Comes The Bride:

quote:

John called my wheelchair vendor today, and they've been waiting for the doctor to fax a more specified prescription. The doctor, however, never received the request for a more specified perscription. Why not, you ask? Just a minor detail, really...like the vendor faxing the request to her phone line rather than her fax line.

I'm hoping we can take The RIDE into Boston, so we only use public transportation going home. The bus stop is a quarter mile from our apartment building, so taking The RIDE would save battery power.

Yeah, it's almost mid-June, and we've only been to Boston twice.

I made a new blog entry. It is my testimony. I have always been reluctant to share it before because I have never felt as if I was really where God wanted me to be. However, last night I found myself looking at a place that had testimonies and I just started typing instead. I hope that all who reads it enjoys it.
