Hi Rach, thanks for your comments! I appreciate your friendship a real lot too! Yes, we have been through a lot! I still remember your situation when we first starting conversing with each other, my how we have all grown! You being married now and everything, and me being much more relaxed as well! I will continue to keep you in prayer and hope that Dave feels better and can rest real soon!

Let's try to aim for that belated birthday lunch for Wednesday so that if something comes up that prevents it we can try for Friday. It is so good that Deb's chair already has better range now that it has new batteries. On Thursday when we went into Boston we didn't have to stop once to plug the chair in. We didn't go far from Downtown Crossing but we did wheel from the apartment to the bus stop at the start of the excursion and the reverse on the way home without her power light ever turning from green to yellow. I'm quite sure we can meet you at that park without any difficulty. We're looking forward to it, Mike. Hope your tooth gets to feeling better and that you can have it worked on for a really reasonable price.

John and I owe Mike a (very) belated birthday lunch. Not sure when that will happen, though.

Hi There John, I hope so too! Things went ok today. Now is it just me or are there 20% more people on the trains and trolleys now? Also, it seems as if service has deteriorated a bit too. I may start a new thread on this, but not sure if I will yet at all.

With the price of gas so high I'm sure there are at least 20% more riders on the trains and trolleys. Others are using the T service because the multi billion dollar "Big Dig" project did little or nothing the save time for those driving into or out of Boston. Those billions of dollars on the underground roads took away money that could have been used for improving the T system. Right now the Red Line trains going over the Charles have to creep along because the bridge is in poor condition. And the platform at the MGH station is still not at the proper level of the subway cars, even though they spent millions to put in a very nice pair of elevators there.

Bus ridership has gone up a little here On Oahu. Unfortunately not all the islands have a bus system so they hav to pay for gas.

I am only planning on staying up for about another 20 minutes or so, then I will hit the hay. Then I have all of tomorrow to play, however I will not spend all my time here though.
