Hi Pammy, my weekend was ok. I did quite a bit of walking. On Saturday I went to the beach and just walked around and enjoyed the weather.

That's cool Mike!! I miss walking in the park and the beach. There aren't too many parks around here that doesn't include dogs. You would have to spend more time watching where you're stepping than anything else....

Bummer Pam!

Mike, I saw you online today.
You must not have come here or to my place.
I'm praying for you Mike, that you would follow God's leading through the storms, so that through your struggles, your victory will gloifry the Lord.

Hey! I almost forgot. I might come with my DH to Boston in a few weeks. I've never been there. I've been to DC and that area but that is all.

May others see Christ in you today,
Lori

Thank you Lori, yes I only popped in for a few minutes, but I am getting caught up in my back-log of subsriptions right now.

Also, if you decide to come to Boston it would be nice to meet ya all. Perhaps I can play tour guide.

It would be nice to meet you too Mike. I will let you know if I join my DH on the trip.

Do you Bostonians say ya all much?*snicker* It just seems....uh....out of character. I don't even say it and yet most Okies do.

May others see Christ in you today Mike!!!

Not usually, but sometimes we do though. It is mostly something that I have picked up here online though.

. . . Of course, being the good Southerner that I am (was?), I do need to let y'all know that it's

(a) spelled, "y'all" - not "ya all"

and

(b) pronounced, "yawl" - not "ya all"

Sharon Marie, I actually had typed the correct spelling and deleted it, not to appear to much of an authority on ya'll"!!! LOL!!!
Yes, it is yaaawl here in OK, rhymes with "haul."

Father God, I thank you for the kind heart you have given Mike. I pray you will heal Mike back to health from his sickness and his back pain; moreover, I ask you to fuel his consuming fire for you dear Lord. Plant in him a true desire for your word, to follow your will, to be a true man of God's own heart. I pray his life will bring glory and honor to you and your son Jesus. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Hi Lori, thank you for the sweet prayer! My back is feeling better today. Also, I had a slight temper tantrum with God today, but then I later apologized for being a goon.

Hi Rach, thank you for praying in agreement as well!

Mike, I think we all get this way some time or other. Accepting His will and living it out are the most difficult of our daily duties.
Hey, try to come by the campfire tomorrow nite at 9:00 CST.
Be a beacon for His love,
Lori

Hi Lori, yeah, well it involved being stretched beyond what you are comfortable with. In this case feeling spacey and wanting to take a lunch, but God knows what we can and cannot handle. A customer was waiting for something and it took an extra 20 minutes before I could go. While I initially complained to God silently, I did the task joyfully. I then later appologized to Jesus for my bad attitude initially.

Hi Pam, my weekend went ok. I wish that I could say that I had more fun than I actually did though.

Well, make plans now for this coming weekend, okay?
I guess no swimming at the Boston beaches? LOL!!!
Go listen to some good tunes somewhere.
We have an excellent jazz lab at the university
here that DH and I will visit occassionaly.
It is not a party atmosphere at all, just relaxing.
The kids can even go with us too.
