Does anybody know of some Christian tween music groups? I just don't like the non-christian ones that are all over the place right now. I see the bad additude rub off on little girls I know. Would like to get them some music for Christmas but am just not into Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers.....

PureNRG is probably the only Christian one I can think of right now.

But this thread probably should be moved to Music.

Jump5, although I think they only released 2 cd's. And the Christian answer to boy bands, Plus One.

Depending on what kind of music your children like, there are artists like the ones already mentioned. Here are some more...

iShine
Kystal Meyers
Relient K
Mission Six
Stacie Orrico
Barlow Girl
Hawk Nelson
Stellar Kart
Worth Dying For

Hope this helps.

This are both excellent bands! Jump5 actally released 4 cd's I think, my sis has them all! As far as Plus One, they are still my fave "Boy Band" even though I'm almost twenty! LOL!

A few more, depending on tastes-

I know they have already been mentioned, but I also recommend Hawk Nelson, my little 7-year-old brother loves their new CD "Hawk Nelson Is My Friend"! It has some really great songs and makes you smile! All of their CD's are AWESOME IMO!

I will re-recommend Stellar Kart - Wonderful, fun sounding! They have a pop feel to them, especially their new CD "Expect the Impossible", I love them!

Mainstay and Anberlin are both good, solid sound, and fun songs!

Superchic[k] is a good band too, they have some songs they would probably enjoy.

I could probably think of more, just not at the moment!

Thanks everyone! I want to check out some of these groups now. Never heard of some of them. The little girl I want it for is really into Miley Cysus and all those. Would just like to get her some that will help her understand what life is really about.

Krystal Meyers and Barlow Girl are a must with Superchic[k] thrown in for good measure!

They are quite interesting. I saw them on Casting Crowns' Christmas Special and my husband said says they are probably lip syncing because there is no way they could just around like that and not be out of breath.
