So, why am I not surprised that they went with Hawk Nelson instead (safe but inferior!!) of BarlowGirl for the CCM 15 Questions feature for December??? Dadgum it...and they call this music CCM??
Or at least I didn't see them. Well, when that Jennifer Aniston GQ cover came out, at least I had this same thought that they had pulled it, but I knew it was coming. Sure enough, it did...but Hawk instead of BG for the 15-Q smells of conspiracy and suppression!!
Of ULTRA-CONSERVATISM!!!
Demand the establishment of Alternative Christian Music!! No to Commercially Christian Music!!

Instead of starting another poor BG rant thread, why don't you ask someone for the details? Instead of just assuming the worst, and jumping to conclusions, why don't you get information first?

Seriously, Ramon. We get it. You think BG is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Unfortunately you're in a large minority. Please realize this and give us a break. You're more concerned with them getting glory than they are. In fact, I have a feeling they'd tell you to leave your hurt feelings at the cross and forget about them.

Yeah, or military intelligence. I thought about that after I posted and couldn't be bothered going back to change it. It's not he's gonna take the advice or anything.

I've never heard Barlowgirl, as I dont listen to much CCM. (I listen to about 99% Praise and Worship) so I went to youtube to check them out.
I was impressed. They are pretty good.

I've heard probably 5 songs from them and I gots ta ask: What's any different about them than any other current girl group?
It must be looks because it sure ain't originality.
Not saying they suck, but my wife's got CDs from other groups that sound like that if I'm ever in the mood to listen to it.
