Yes POG is MUCH better. Ha.

I just love those breakfast choices at Jamba Juice! I'm having the one with extra granola and the Omega 3 boost.

I'm thinking a Sunday evening to have the luau would be a good time. What do you all think?

Now I know we are supposed to "love or neighbor" and everything. But the next door neighbors are selling their house I and everyone in my house is quite happy about it.

Happy weekend everyone!

I've been taking long naps because of the VOG. I don't mind though.

My back was still bothering me lots this morning, but after laying down for a while, it feels much better at the moment. I still plan on going back to work tomorrow. And oh yeah, I got one of those age turning events this week as well, they are called a birthday.

Mike, that's one more year of celebrating G-d's creation...you!

I had the worst KFC tonight. I got it at one of those smaller KFC Express. It was overcooked and dry.

I had KFC tonight and it was pretty good. I like their crunchy toasted wrap, though I wish it was bigger.

I do like Popeye's too.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Chore and errand day today and then who knows. Let's see...what kind of goodies should we have on the island today?

John has another work schedule change. Very early in the morning till about 11:30 a.m. I do like it cause it's in the morning but there is still some discrepancy in our schedules. That plus it must be hard for him to keep adjusting to changing sleep schedules. I did get to go visit his workplace last week cause he had an orientation as an actual new member of the club. I got a guest pass. It's a nice place. The personal trainers there seems to be pretty good too.

Why do window washers have to be so loud when they are cleaning? It sounds like the guy is swaying back and forth with his squeegee and hitting the sides of the windows. It's so annoying.

Ummm.... Not sure.

Thanks for your response to my questions I asked last week. I've had to put the whole thing on hold for now 'cause college is starting out fast.

The window washers are probably trying to clean the windows quickly. And they don't realize how much noise their making.

I determined that the loud noise from the window washers was due to their cables hitting the glass. What a job.

No problem dude! You mean that you are starting college soon?

Hiya Deb! John works at a local fitness club called The Honolulu Club. It's high end and expensive but a very good facility As an employee he gets free membership. When we get married I can get a generous discount on the membership fee. It's still expensive though even after the discount but may be doable. We will just have to budget well.

I started the summer semester last week. I didn't realize how much 2 classes (full time for summer) would be...

Yeah summer classes can cost more or the same. The classes can be more intense too because it's more condensed.

Yes, it's almost midnight here. I'm going to sleep in a bit. Ha.

The rate at the club for spouses is $70. hmmm. That's kinda a lot. If I went with it there can be no "I'm too lazy to go to the gym" days! I have to say...the classes they offer are kinda good. A nice variety as compared as to other places. The have dance lessons but those are extra charge cause they hire the teachers from outside. They have occasional member appreciation events when they serve good food. The locker room is big and there's also a lounge area in the locker room with a big t.v. The personal trainers are good and each one charges their own rate. They have a basketball court, tennis courts, putting range, pools, jacuzzis, sauna, steam room and also have a spa with spa services (additional charges). They have physical therapy available as well. There's a restaurant and food kiosk. They also have a yearly charity event to support the Epilepsy Foundation. It's a spin class charity event. I do like that being that I want to continue to support this foundation.

We'll see. Only if we can afford it. The $70 monthly could end up being a very good investment...IF I use it. If I don't, it would be a complete waste. I think when we get married I will obtain another one of those week passes. I'll try it for a week.

Ok, it's midnight now. G'night islanders! Enjoy the cool island breeze!

Trish, it's really amazing how marriage changes one's ability to spend money. I considered myself to be fairly disciplined about money, but I wasn't. Now I really have to reign myself in! But it's for us, and that's a good cause!

Airconditioning. Niiice. Glad you survived your root canal Sarah.

Happy middle of the week! Anything interesting to share on the island today?

Trishy takes a dip in the water, then lays out in the nice warm sun...sips her POG.
