Well now that he has a stable and normal schedule things should be fine now.

Good morning/afternoon island peeps! I'm sitting here enjoying my granola and on a tiny break. How is your day goin so far?

There's a thread in Theo House about studying the customs of Christ. I sooo am lovin it! Just gotta make sure to make some time to participate. At the very least, I'm enjoying reading in there.

I probably missed it but was is everyone doin for the summer? Camping? traveling? Me I'm just planning you know... things. Ha.

I'm BACK!!!!!!! The conference was great! I'm really busy and kind of stressed now because there's a recital coming up in the church this Saturday and I'm kind of behind in a LOT of things. Ugh. Pray for me! And pray for the youth pastor too, I have the feeling that his plate is really really full and that it's just overwhelming for him.

When I first went to w***. I w***ed from 10 till 6 am. Then the schedule changed to afternoons (2-10PM). Then again after new ownership (630-130).. Then again changed 330 am to 1130am. Now it is at a reasonable 930-630PM. How is everyone doing? Best regards..

Bus Strike averted.

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Workers for Oahu Transit Services say "yes" to a five year contract.

The agreement averts a potential strike which would have wreaked havoc on Oahu traffic. The results came down just after 6:30pm. The final vote was 844, "yes" to 103, "no", to approve the contract.

We had a strike a fews years back. But it was so much easier since I was attending classes on the same campus that my mom worked on.So I would just ride in and out with her.

But now I go to a different campus and getting in and out would be much more difficult.

Hello island peeps!

Welcome back slushie! Glad you had a good time at the conference. Praying about your recital and for your youth pastor.

When you have time let us know more about the conference.

As for the bus, it wasn't a landslide the last time they voted.

Those guys get paid pretty well.

One of my co-workers was bummed out when I told him no one in John's family can come to the wedding. So I'm glad that he is having four people, including the manager come as HIS guests. My co-worker was sweet, he said, "Ok then we will be his family." Awe.

He's part Hawaiian and culturally, Hawaiian families are close knit, even if not related. Lot's of calabash cousins and close friends. They have big and fun weddings. His younger brother ended up with 2,000 people at their wedding! All they did was rent out a ranch or something. They stopped counting, ending up e-mailing half of their invitations and let everyone just sit anywhere. lol

They have been promoting a new version of Beverly Hills 90210. I don't think it will be as good as the original.

Sarah, I think the new show should be interesting cause all but one of the original cast members will be on the show.

Ray and Betty, you can be John's siblings anytime! John could use a good ole big ogre brother.

Betty I actually thought about the whole cam idea. But the thing is having an internet connection. I suppose we could catch a wireless signal from someone.

That would be cool though if you guys could "be there".

You should get one though. It would make a GREAT investment.

Ack...the delivery didn't come last night for work and I am here waiting for it to come. I hope it comes soon cause I have lunch planned with our day of coordinator and my dress fitting in the afternoon. I hope I got most of my water weight down in time for the fitting.
