That's the best gift yet.

I'm enjoying a turkey and egg breakfast sandwhich from Starbucks. It's good but so expensive! Oh well. It's healthier than a sausage one from McD's. The English muffin is a little sweet and has some whole grain in it. Yum!

God is soooo G-d isn't He? I hope everyone's having a blessed day.

Aloha Friday everyone! Another week has passed! How quickly it goes huh? So John and I will try to transport a few pieces of furniture to the new place this weekend. He moves in next Friday!

Ok so our store is trying to find a full time back room person. And being that I don't want to be that person, I will go back to just selling. I process orders during non work hours but the change will be that I will have a more normal schedule. If they find someone, I will be able to adjust my schedule to work out more. And that is a good thing.

Weekend plans?

Thing 1's birthday party is tomorrow then he and my parents are going up north to my brother's graduation from the police academy.

Thing 2 leaves on Monday for church camp for a week.

Tink is going to be at home. Alone. Whatever will I do???

Saw it!

It was classic X-files...an extended typical episode. To me it was just right and not over done. They are getting old. lol I may buy the whole series on DVD one day.

Busy today. After a few hours of work this morning, we have some errands, will design a frame for our sketch, more errands and then a wedding at 4 our time.

Arrrgh! My mouse is going crazy. I so need a new one.

Ok so after a 9 course fine Chinese dinner I'm pretty full! It was a nice wedding. Some things were different too. Anyhoo here is what was in the 9 course meal...some of it expensive food!

- Appetizer plate with sliced pork, char siu chicken, and jellyfish.
- Crab and shark fin soup
- Shrimp with honey walnuts
- Pecking duck (the skin with a Chinese bun)
- Roast chicken
- Steamed sea bass with ginger and green onion
- The meat of the Pecking duck
- Ying, yang fried rice
- mochi balls with sweet red bean soup

Then there was the wedding cake.

I've never had shark fin soup.
Mochi balls... I think that's Japanese. Wait... I think I've had that...

Nope it was not Trishy's Wedding

I know because I was not there. The dinner sound yummy in the tummy. And nine courses $$$$. Especially at the better Chinese resturaunts.

Correction...it was a 10 course meal. Abalone and shiitake mushrooms. lol

Hey slush! You don't like char siu chicken? Wow! I suppose it's the Chinese version of their "barbeque". But crab and shark fin soup is goooood. Very tastey! That plus the pecking duck bun were my most fave. Everything was good though.

Oh the wedding cake was a Japanese style strawberry cake. Not too sweet and very light.

That 10 course meal was very good. :)
Her dad and,I went to Downtown Honolulu,and later the mall. I got the glasses,the straw container,and the toaster that I need for my new place.
