I jumped into my dh's car to drive to work tonight (his gets better gas mileage) and was thrilled to hear Michael W. Smith's The Live Set in the player! How old am I that I was pounding the steering wheel and belting out Nothing But the Blood (whoah, whoah, who-oah, o-oh!).

ORIGINAL: nuclear_sidewalk Decemberadio Filling the Classic Rock sound gap where Christian music has lacked for so long. Fighting Instinct also has this feel. I always thought 12 Stones fit the bill as well. If you like guitar solos (remember those?) Alter Bridge is the ticket.

Just picked up the new Chris Sligh and have had it in my car for about a week. Didn't grab me the first time through but the more I listen, the more I like it. I thought the same thing. The first time I heard it I pegged as your standard Christian alternative wannabe type music, but the second time around it was a little better. Right now I've got Phil Keaggy's "The Song Within" playing, Rich Mullins and the Ragamuffin Band's "The Jesus Record" in the car, and Dylan's "Modern Times" in the player in my bedroom.

I have a thread open where a lot of you have suggested some music for me. So I have playing consistently: Skillet (Comatose), Red (The End of Silence), Pillar (For the Love of the Game) and "WOW" Hits 2008. I have REALLY fallen in love with "Mountain of God" by Third Day!! I like Pillar and Skillet A LOT!!
