A giant bronze statue of Prince Charles as a winged hero "saving the world" is to become the centrepiece of a remote Amazonian town.
The Prince was presented with a model of the sculpture, which shows him with bulging muscles, pinned back ears and only a loin cloth to protect his modesty.
During his visit to Tocantins state in central Brazil the Prince was told the full size piece would be erected in a square named in his honour in the main town of Palmas.
Charles retains a full head of hair in the statue
Charles arrived in Tocantins from Rio, where he showed his appreciation for Brazilian culture by doing the Samba with street dancers and playing football with children at a community centre.
Artist Mauricio Bentes moulded the statue of his 53-year-old subject using pictures downloaded from the internet.
Apart from the angel-like wings and muscular physique he also gave Prince Charles a full head of hair. At his feet are human bodies, one of whom is drinking a bottle of wine.
Piranha-infested
Accepting the scale model of Mr Bentes' work the Prince said he was "amazed" and "deeply touched".
Explaining its significance, Tacantins state governor Jose Wilson Sequeira Campos said: "It is Prince Charles saving the world".
Charles, dressed for the trip in a khaki safari shirt, is in the region for a visit to a global warming station.
The Cangacu research station consists of thatched wooden buildings perched on stilts in a swamp.
The prince impressed the crowd with his football skills
The royal party got there by taking a plane from Rio to Palmas, followed by a helicopter and then a motor launch along the piranha-infested Javaes River.
The Prince was welcomed to the area by Karaja Indians, who performed a traditional dance and presented him with gifts of a hunting club and a beaded garland.
In Rio scantily clad dancers persuaded Charles to join them in a quick samba routine.
Football
Obligingly the Prince held hands with Joana D'Arc, 30, and Patricia Lima, 21, as music blasted from speakers a few feet away.
He later joked: "I was grabbed by those girls outside and made to do the samba just now. I don't think I'm properly dressed for it. I'm too hot..."
...and getting hotter all the time.

Thanks for the link. A statue from some obscure Brazilian town hardly qualifies as a supernatural annointing. The article is from 2002 and the "statue" is actually only a model. Has the real thing been made, yet?
The Planet X guy is still a nut case, BTW. That's the first thing from his website that I've seen that actually had anything close to truth to it. But that's another topic.

If you appreciated Cohen's take on the Prince, I would urge you to read Joan Veon's Prince Charles, The Sustainable Prince. She offers some compelling evidence on the incredible leverage Prince Charles exerts behind the scenes, especially vis-a-vis the United Nations and "Agenda 21". Surely you are joking! Does the appellation "Queen of Heaven" ring a bell? Does your Bible include an Old Testament? When the Israelites returned from their 400 year sojourn in Egypt, they brought back many of the same religious beliefs with them, esp. that of Isis "Queen of Heaven". She was married to Osiris who was murdered by the evil "Set". Without getting too technical, Isis revives Osiris and sires a son, Horus. Hence you have an Egyptian form of the trinity: with Isis as Queen of Heaven, Osiris becoming Lord of the underworld, and the line of Pharoahs continuing through Horus. This idolatry was to become a consant stumbling block to the children of Israel, even as it remains a stumbling block to many today.
"Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: you will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows. What a silly conversation this is...do you not know that the apocalypse of John flows from a Jewish genre which is not meant to be interpreted literally? IT IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME to think on or about such notions as the anti-christ or a rapture or whatever. The apocalypse of John was written to inspire hope for a persecuted church, not to detail the "end of time". Since most people here don't seem to care or listen to Christian tradition or church theology, I'm sure no one will listen. But on the off chance someone does, please, stop engaging in a completely useless and futile process in trying to figure anything out about the end.

Excuse my persistence, but I do not believe that one can stretch a mish-mash of Egyptian mythology and Jeremiah and come up with Prince Charles as AC or Queen of Heaven. The volume of hits one can get by googling anything is not proof that something is valid. Google UFO and you'll get plenty of links, but that doesn't prove or disprove their existence.

All that stuff about Charles is true.. But the guy is such an idiot I can't fathom him being the one..He's just toooo dopey..! Nor does it fit with what Daniel says..so as far as my 2 cents is worth..it's not him..!
Power will be "given unto" the Antichrist.. Probably in a soon break up of Iran and / or Iraq into 10 little countries or states..then he rises as a man of peace from that breakup..!
The SELUCID portion of Alexander's Kingdom is where Antichrist rises up from..not England..or W. Europe..!
That's the area of...Iraq..Iran..Jordan..Syria..parts of Turkey..even Lebanon..!
He won't be the same faith as his father..but that doesn't help much because he still could be any religion..Jews would be more apt to listen to a Christian than a Muslim..and Muslims wouldn't listen to a Jew ...but might listen to a Christian..Christians for the most part are pretty dopey and probably would listen to anyone who said nice things in their ears..So who knows..!

You gave Jeremiah 44:25-26. That hardly qualifies as "many". The relevance of this scripture to Prince Charles being the AC is where? You use Egyptian mythology more than the Bible in building your case.
Even if you find a truckload of passages to throw in, your preconceived inclination is the only real argument to support any individual as the AC.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the "statue" pictured is a model and no effort has been made to actually make the "statue". The announcement was made in 2002 (more than five years ago, in case you are counting). IOW there is no statue.

Although the BBC was quite effusive in its praise of the ceremony, one can detect an element of not quite rightness in the "spontaneous" cheering of the Welsh masses. What the BBC would not, or could not, report were the deaths of two Welsh partisans earlier that same day who were blown up when the bomb they were carrying for an assasination attempt mysteriously exploded before the "royal" family's entourage arrived at the castle. One account goes as follows:

Apparently some in Wales were none too keen on being under the sovereignty of England. Greetings in Christ. I copied and pasted your post from "Prince Charles!!" onto the main Prince Charles thread so we could maintain the continuity of the thread. Thanks for the link to Charles' use of the hologram to project his "image". Sure sounds like the image of the beast to me. Although it has been correctly pointed out that Al Gore used the same technology to beam a holographic image of himself to the live earth concerts, Gore and the Prince are working together to promote the same agenda. Indeed, Gore functions as the prophet of Prince Charles' diabolical message of "global warmiing" which he uses as a pretext to subjugate the inhabitants of the planet earth.
