Pink flamingoes work if you're into early Ricardo Montalban. [;)] Seriously, I think they can look pretty good if you gots palms. [8D] But don't get me started on tatoos. I will admit to being an old fogie (sp?) when it comes to tatoos.

We have a house in town with Pink flamingoes, whirligigs, and both black and white lawn jockeys, plus ornaments and gizmoes that I couldn't guess what they're called.

Doinkdom and her husband are invloved in ministry and it's for ministry related reasons that the matter was being discussed with doinkdom. The fact is that many ppl in their 40s and 50s are getting some well-thought-out faith-related ink out of personal conviction. But hey thanks for your comment, the more the better. Take care.

well, I'm kinda gonna stick with Jimbo's reasoning. No needles involved No pain involved No needles involved and when my skin starts sagging even more....I can get it removed painlessly oh...and it'd have to also be free of charge. [;)] Last time I checked, tattoos were $200 or more.

But I know when my husband was looking at getting an armband tattoo about 10 years ago, it was upwards of $200.00 or more at the time in NC. We're in SC now so I don't honestly know the true cost around here.

I saw a lawn jockey today! When y'all mentioned them, I had to look them up because I didn't know what they were. But I saw a bona fide lawn jockey today when out walking! He was holding a lantern. I thought it looked pretty classy, although I wouldn't have on in MY yard. [sm=nosestuckup.gif] (Yeah, I realize I'm not 40 yet, but this was too important to not post about!) [8D]
